I wouldn't suggest it. Cow milk is a different make up than dog milk. Also, your pup needs mother's milk till it is at least 8 weeks old. If mother is not available then go to the petstore and get simulated milk that is specially formulated for puppies. Your vet will have something also.

No, they don't have a pancreas and digesting the regular milk is hard on them. If you want to give him something like milk, go to Wal-Mart and get some formula in the powder form and supplement feeding with that.

I wouldn't do it because I had a pitbull puppy that had been abandoned from my pitbull and I give her regular milk and it killed her.

First off relax. A change in food can (and is most likely the cause) of your dogs diarrhea. Your dog just has to get used to the new food. Second you MUST get toys or the dog with get bored and chew/destroy things. And walk and take your dog to the dog park. Early socializing is key to a well rounded Pitty. As for feeding twice a day is fine. You're doing a good job.

sorry answer is "NO".Try giving it a puppy formula that can be purchased at any feed store,or get a can of Goat milk from the grocery and mix half and half with water. The goat milk is very easy to digest and easy on the stomach.

no. you need to get puppy formula.

and you shouldn't have a 5 week old pit bull puppy away from it's mom....that's way to young. this dog will grow up with behavior, social, and emotional problems due to the lack of interaction with mom and litter mates.

No, you have to get a special formula just for puppies. Stores like Petco and Petsmart sell it, but first you should check with your vet to see if there is a specific kind they recommend.

No. Canines are lactose intolerant and all this will do is cause diarrhea and stomach upset. If he still requires formula you must buy this from a pet food supply place. Good luck.
