Noone on here is going to know what it is. We can only guess. It sounds like some sort of infection..but who knows.
The dog needs to be seen by a vet.

Could it possibly be a tick? See linked picture.
They can be sort of light greenish when engorged with blood. If fully engorged, it will be about half the size of a peanut (sorry, that's a terrible size description, but I can't think of something more appropriate).
If it's a tick, you can pull it off on your own. Just try to grasp it as close to the dog's skin as possible so that you can remove the entire tick plus it's mouthparts.

Get her to the vet ASAP> Sounds like a wound that has gotten infected. She really needs to be seen before it gets worse and the infection spreads to her bloodstream. Good luck!

ASAP is an acronym for as soon as possible. And you should probably get the animal to the vet. I am sure this is very uncomfortable to you animal. It could be someithing as simple as fatty tissue, or as serious as cancer get you animal to a vet immediately

i recently read that a deer tick leaves a red ring around the bite and also spread lymes didease which is cureable but in humans (pets?) has dormant features that can afeect you many years after being cured. good luck go to the vet atleast call.

it sounds like an infection. it could be from a cut that is infected a spot, a bite, but also alot of other things. see your vet they ll be able to help you more.
