Your best bet is going to be brushing the dogs every day. You can't stop them from shedding but by brushing them you will decrease the amount of hair lying around your house. Also, a bath once a week would be beneficial.

Certain dogs shed more than others, before buying a dog you should research if you have issues with shedding, and try to pick a dog with minimal shedding. Since you already own the dog, the best bet is brushing once or twice a day and bathing weekly. Be aware though, if you can pull the dog's hair out in clumps when you are petting it, there may be a health problem and you may need to take the dog to a vet.

Some dogs just shed more than others. I would recommend that you have your pet groomed by a professional groomer and then brush your dog daily to help with the shedding. Good Luck.

some dog foods such as innova help shedding. Giving baths with cooler water also helps prevent shedding. warm water throws the dog into a shed. it also depends on the dog. if you have a long haired dog DON'T SHAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! brushing mor really helps with a long haired dog. sorry if it is a short haired dog i do not know as much about short haired dogs but try the innova that food is expensive but it really works.
good luck!

Feed her a good quality dog food, brush her regulary. Try to keep her in a temprature stable place, if she's getting really hot then cold this can trigger shedding too.

I have a terrier who sheds constantly. I found a grooming tool with serrated edges that gets to his undercoat and gets rid of a lot of his loose hair. I groom him at least every other day. It doesn't take long, and he loves it. I love not having "tumbleweeds" of dog hair drifting around my house!

You can't. That's one thing you need to consider when getting a dog. Do they shed alot?

My first dog was a shelty...i paid for and tried every new product on the market and what i found out was that the proper grooming tools to get clear to the bottom of the coat and grooming every day(yep, every day) was really the only thing that helped.

You can't stop the shedding, you can only reduce it by regular, thorough grooming and feeding a nutritious diet.
