like she thinks we have another treat for her. She bites at my husband's shirt when she's sitting with him. She also snaps in the air at us. I tried vinegar/water squirt bottle, also tried "time outs" on her. She doesn't seem to be getting the message. Raising a puppy is proving harder than I thought. People keep saying she will outgrow it but it seems more severe than other people talk about. She is a mutt, we've had her about 2 months now. Any other suggestions?

well, i was burying my deceased hamster
today and my brother wanted to see if my
old dead hamsters body was still in the case.
so, my brother decided to take it out and opened it.
to his dismay, inside the case it was completely brown
with bugs all over it. I know Mickey decomposed, but why
did he look like diahrrea?

Just wondering if my 7 month old DSH kitten is over-weight.

Approx. 7 months, DSH, female, spayed, approx. 2.5 - 3.5 KG (not sure how much in pounds).

Feeding her 'Whiskas' kitten food - 2-3 satchels per day.
Also 'Purina ONE' dry kitten food - 1.5 cups per day (sometimes more).

Went to the vet last month for her vaccination - vet said she was in perfect condition... very healthy.
Is she over-weight or is this a healthy weight range?

1. My bird is 5 months old. she makes chirping noises and stuff but i want to teach him/her to whistle. He/she makes chirping and sounds like a Togepi (From Pokemon) and his/her crest is about 3 inches long. He/she has not molted yet.

2. First off I know you'll all say its too young and it might not be a boy but if it was a boy, how do I teach it to talk and whistle (By the way, I am really bad at whistling).

In the past year I have taken in two kittens. Within a week of bringing them into my home they both developed diarrhea. The first one i don't have anymore but the one I have now(Salem) I really adore. I've had her for about 5 days now. Along with the diarrhea they have, the easiest way to describe, small amounts of stool that come out when passing gas(very noticably i might add). The odd thing is that she doesn't even realize that it comes out. I know that diarrhea is common in kittens but I have had cats my whole life and I can't say that I have ever noticed a problem like that. 1. Is the "seepage" normal? 2. Is it something in my home? What can I do to help her?

I rescued another pet from the local pet store, this one is a very beaten up mouse. He had about a 1in scab on his back and he's very scared. Should I try to get the scab off (soak it with water) or just let him take care of it? I wanted to put some antibacteria cream on it. And no i'm not using him for snake food anyone who suggests it will be reported

I have a german shepherd that is almost 3 years old and we got her fixed about 6 months ago. The vet said that she wasn't a pure bred and told us that she thought that she was also inbred becasue of a deformed uterus or something. It kind of confirmed my own thoughts and my dog seems to be getting worse by the day. How bad will she get? The whole point was for her to protect my children and now they won't even go outside if she's out there. What should I do?

So today, my family adopted a puppy, (2 weeks earlier than expected. I believe I posted a question about waiting 3 weeks. But we decided we were ready, so we went shelter hopping today.) a Catahoula Leopard Dog/ Golden Retriever mix, and this puppy was really attached to her toy in the kennel. Does anyone know if they SPCA allows the puppy to keep their toys? Or does anyone know where they get their toys?

I would love for her to come home to find her favorite toy right there in her new home. Thanks in advance!

We have two great puppies that my dog had in thee summer and there were six of them but we only have two left but they don't listen and they think it's funn if they run to our road and in thee dead middle of our road which is a gravel road and people drive way too fast and crazy on ours roads... I can't keep them in our yard at all.... We yell at them and get to come back with dog food...
