Shouldn't people come back and say "ok i picked Fluffy". ANd when you ask us to help you pick a name for you cat or dog or gerbil folks, it would help if you would give us the gender, color and a bit about the personality of the critter.

Bob? for a girl? That's why we need to know gender. And I hope we could come up with something better than "Fluffy" it was just the first thing that fell out of my head.

You are Sooo Right! We SHOULD get some feedback to our well thought out pet naming. * Who wants to sign my newly created YAHOO Answers Feedback Required Petition?*

And yes, it seems logical we'd guess better names if we knew gender, age, and description.

I enjoy reading all the name suggestions as those that were made on the Maine Coon recently. I really don't know why people ask that question as I have never had any doubts about naming my cats and I used to name all the strays that came into the shelter too.

You're absolutely right.

Very frustrating.

Really, though, after coming on here and getting all sorts of ideas for names, you really think they would pick Fluffy?
