a party, some people put in a porographic movie( a very old early 80's)it showed a woman with a German Shepherd, and now that is all she can talk about. I thought it was just something new and she had never seen that strange stuff, but then she came home with a German Shepherd puppy. SHould I be worried?

I love my dog so much...and I can't stop staring at her, playing with her, kissing her, hugging her, etc. etc. I'm currently a student and sometimes I find myself at home the whole day, grinning from such happiness at my dog. This is all good but I'm becoming anti-social and ineffective with school work. What can I do to keep me away from a dog a bit and concentrate on living my own life?

I was in asecondhand shop and Ipassedby this cat that was so large and was sitting so still I automatically assumed it was fake.I picked up a trinket that was beside it and it lept off the countertop!I was mortified!.............I'd never seen a cat so large!It had a grayish bluish coat and gold and black eyes...What kind of cat was it?

My new fresh water tank contains 2 gouramies, 7 platies and 4 loaches plus an algae eater. Until now I have seen no problems between species. I wish to add 2 colourful discus to the tank. Will this cause any problems? Is it preferable to have 1 male and 1 female or rather 2 females to avoid any chasing around in the tank?

I have a pet parrot that is really cool. The problem is that he just falls asleep at the drop af the hat. This evening he was riding the celing fan around and around and he fell asleep and hit the floor. He was not hurt. He sometimes falls off his perch asleep. I am worried that he is going tofall asleep while drinking water and drown. Any ideas?

My sweet cat is around 3 yrs old and is a Long Hair Domestic cat. She has enough fur for 3 cats with some left over for her. A few days ago I noticed on her back above her tale her hair has become very thin. This does not seem to be occuring anywhere else on her coat.

She weighs so much I have put her on a diet per her vet's instructions. Before I was allowing her to graze anytime she wanted but when I began to portion her meals she would scarf down everything so fast she would immediatly throw it back up. So now I am feeding her very small portions several times a day. My question is -- could her hair loss be attributed to the stress of a new feeding schedule? She also follows me around meowing and everytime I go into my utility room she runs to her bowl and begs. I love her so much and I hate to see her like this. By the way, I have made an appt. to see her vet, but in the meantime I don't want her to be so stressed. Any SERIOUS answers or suggestions would be a help

There is a huge spot in his room where the dog has peed on is carpet. The dog is old and i dont realy blame him but it smells real bad and there is a huge stain. How do I get rid of the smell and the stain fast!? Please help and Thank You!!

i have currently had no luck in my button quails hatching their eggs so i have put 4 eggs in a budgie nestbox with one of my females. She has been laying on the 4 eggs for a whole now & i think that they are just about ready to hatch that is if they are fertile. What should i use to put the young in once they hatch? i have read on websites that you can put them in cardboard boxes with a lamp is this correct? also what should i feed them once they hatch is it alright to feed them worms as soon as they hatch. Please only answer if you seriosuly know & have done this before. cheers

yesterday i noticed my puppy's fang on the floor. Then today i noticed her top right inside of her mouth was kind of bloody, then i didnt really see a tooth ther, so im guessing she lost that tooth or molar. Then it came to my attention that her left side upper molar was very very lose to the point where i could pick it out out her gums..so im wondering is that normal?? i mean do puppies lose their teeth like human do? and will they grow back? please i would really appreciate it if you can help me...shes my 1st puppy and i dont know what to do or to expect. My dog is almost 17. She's in fair health and quality of life is good. She seems to have some cognitive problems which I consider dementia. Shes gets stuck in certain places, zones out sometimes, wanders the house if things are not 'right' for her, has forgotten hand signals, and has accidents in the house regularly.
Can anything be done about this? I play with her every day, but since she's just a pet, it's impossible to determine how bad, or what to do. Anyone have ideas?

We brought home a 10 month old Saint Bernard today. She has done wonderfully all day. Now it's almost 2:30am and she will not go to sleep! I have done everything I can think of. She has been outside, she's not hungry or thirsty, I am petting her, singing to her, talking to her. I know she is confused about being in a new home. Does anyone have any better ideas on how to get her to clam down so both her and I can get some sleep? Thank you!
