What kind of biting? Puppy nipping? "Warning" bites when you're doing something she doesn't like? Fear biting? Biting you, of your family, or strangers? Nipping? Breaking skin? Requiring stitches?
All biting is different, there is no one solution for biting.

It depends on what kind of biting
Puppy Biting-when your puppy bites you, yelp just as a little puppy would. It may sound weird but when your puppy plays with other puppies and she bites one too hard the puppy would yelp and the biting puppy would lean she bit too hard.
Fear biting- Dont punish your dog if it is biting in fear, wait until it calms down before or it will just add to its fear. Also dogs bite when they are in pain because they are afraid you will add more pain, so before you try to come close you would need to put on a muzzle.
hope it helps

Is it a puppy? If it is a puppy it is normal. It is teething. What I did with my 14 week old Bichonpoo was when she would bite me I pulled my hand away (or whatever she was biting) and firmly told her "no bite". Now she doesn't bite me. On the rare occasion she tries a firm "no bite" and she stops. Another thing that works with her is I remove the thing that she shouldn't be biting (arm, shoe or whatever) and replace it with something she can bite like her Kong or Bone and tell her "switch" and she knows what is acceptable to bite. At this young age her biting problem is already under control.

well if it is a lab then i have to ask do you give her exercise for at least an hour EVERYDAY. exercise doesnt mean put her in the backyard so she can stare at the fence. do you jog with her, throw balls or frisbees? most people that own labs stick them in the backyard all day long everyday and the dog goes PSYCHO from boredom. these dogs are high energy they are bred to go to work everyday and very smart, if not properly exercised then you get behavoiral issues. try walking her with a pinch or choke collar on a very short leash everyday so she doesnt walk in front of you but beside you. dont be afraid of her and when she jumps or bites grab her nose and say NO very loud. and look her in the eyes. you have to be the boss. being strict combined with releasing her energy should help. you might need to go to a professional trainer petsmart has a program and most vets/kennels can recommend a good trainer. the dog whisperer is really good too

It depends on the type of biting the dog is doing. Puppy playing bites, you can teach them that it hurts and then they are gentle.. Some dogs smell fear and will attack because of the unknown. Talk in soothing tones while petting and firmly tell them no. Biting is a learned behavior and can be retrained.

how old is she? when does she bite? you have to give more clues. is she playing? has she bitten others? was she abused previously? more info, then maybe we can help. as for right now, obedience lessons and a squirt bottle. when she tries to bite, squirt her in the face.
