well, i was burying my deceased hamster
today and my brother wanted to see if my
old dead hamsters body was still in the case.
so, my brother decided to take it out and opened it.
to his dismay, inside the case it was completely brown
with bugs all over it. I know Mickey decomposed, but why
did he look like diahrrea?

Depending on the "case" you used, you might have accelerated the decomposition process. The bacteria went crazy, and he liquefied.

If the case had a tight seal, and was allowed to get warm, you made nature kick into overdrive.

Sorry about your hamster.

This was in one day? I don't think that bacteria can do that so quickly. Nor do I think that bugs could that so quickly, unless it was millions of them. I know hamster bodies are small, but they can't decompose in one day. My other thought that maybe it was just dirt and bug waste in whatever container you used, but I don't think that an entire hamster would be carried away in a day unless you have a CRAZY ant problem, like plague issues.

Sorry about your hammy when things decompose on land they get bugs but not much else. but if you put in a container chances are it will warm up and bugs and bacteria and fungus will have a feild day.

Thats a little nasty, but I think its because when you die, you dry up and the hamster might have lost all of the water in its body and the bugs were eating it and laying thier eggs in it. Im really sorry about your hamster though.
