Call your vet!!Symptoms of Chocolate Dog Ingestion and Poisoning
You can recognize that your dog has eaten a toxic dose of chocolate from the symptoms. Within the first few hours, the evidence includes vomiting, diarrhea or hyperactivity. As time passes and there's increased absorption of the toxic substance, you'll see an increase in the dog's heart rate, which can cause arrhythmia, restlessness, hyperactivity, muscle twitching, increased urination or excessive panting.
This can lead to hyperthermia, muscle tremors, seizures, coma and even death.
Knowing which chocolate is the most toxic is important, but leaves one wondering how much must be eaten to poison a dog. The list in this box should be helpful. Maybe you can clip it and post it on your refrigerator?

*******White chocolate: 200 ounces per pound of body weight. It takes 250 pounds of white chocolate to cause signs of poisoning in a 20-pound dog, 125 pounds for a 10-pound dog.
Milk chocolate: 1 ounce per pound of body weight. Approximately one pound of milk chocolate is poisonous to a 20-pound dog; one-half pound for a 10-pound dog. The average chocolate bar contains 2 to 3 ounces of milk chocolate. It would take 2-3 candy bars to poison a 10 pound dog. Semi-sweet chocolate has a similar toxic level.

Was it milk or dark? How much? To be safe you can make her vomit by feeding her bread soaked in Hydrogen peroxide and take her for a stroll in the back yard (she'll puke in a few min) Dark chocolate is very bad. There have been cases of puppies eating whole boxes of milk chocolate and not having any problems except diarrhea for a few days. My own dogs (2 boston terriers) ate a whole chocolate cake while we were asleep and had no problems. I'd make her puke just to be on the safe side.

Chocolate is another snack that should not be given to your dog. Chocolate contains theobromine, which is the toxic ingredient contained in chocolate that harms your dog. The toxic dose of chocolate is 100-150 mg of theobromine per kilogram of dog. For a 60 pound dog, a toxic dose of chocolate is 60 ounces of milk chocolate, 18 ounces of semisweet chocolate, or 6 ounces of unsweetened chocolate. The the first signs of chocolate poisoning are vomiting and diarrhea, increased urination and nausea. These can progress to cardiac arrhythmias and seizures. This biggest thing that keeps coming to mind here is this. If people really are worried about their dogs, due to some possible medical condition, Dont ask people on the internet, TAKE THE DOG TO THE VET, or call the vet and find out what you can do, or should do!

You need to call your vet immediately. The caffeine in chocolate can cause serious damage to your dog's heart, including causing a heart attack. Your vet may want to see the dog today to counteract any effects of the chocolate.

I've had quite a few dogs that love chocolate, and seem to get into it whenever I have it, I don't think it's much to worry about unless she starts acting wierd. That little of an amount shouldnt hurt her. You could call a 24 hr vet hotline though and ask?
