Just wondering if anyone has experienced similar change in behaviour with their rabbit - since around the time the warm weather started, he has been sitting beside his water bowl a lot more, sometimes taking sips, or resting his chin on the surface of the water. He has been eating, pooing and urinating normally. Has anyone else experienced this, is there a reason for it?

I am considering buying a white Persian kitten as a Christmas present for my two daughters. Can anyone please tell me what they are like around the house? Are they clean or messy? I also own two cockatiels. Would that be a problem? Thank you.

I need to reseach types of dogs. Me and my boyfriend are moving out for the first time, and we wnat to buy a puppy. We are not home for like 5-6 hrs a day, so I need a dog who is not too dependent- one that will be okay to leave alone for a few hrs a day!

Does anyone know any good sites that go into detail about all types of dogs??

Im getting a cavalier king charles spaniel puppy, i will be at home for six weeks to look after him/her, however after that i will be out at work from about eight till four every week day. I am intending to have a dog walker so the dog wont be alone all day, and will spend lots of time with it during the evenings and weekends but would it be a good idea to get an older rescue cat that gets along with dogs to keep it company during the day? Would that stop the dog from getting too lonely/bored?

My 2 year old Lab has epilepsy he is and will be on medication for the rest of his life. Despite being on 1000mg of bromide and mysolyn he is still having fits once a week. I took him to the vets today after making an appointment to have him put to sleep. I left the vets in tears with Harvey, I could not do it. Is there anyone who could give him the home he deserves? Maybe someone who could nurse him through the fits.

Teddy Bear Yorkies? I am sorry, I have never had a dog. I don't know breeds and I don't know anything about this particular one that is why I am asking. Obviously people out there aren't too helpful and give me a thumbs down instead of helping. I just want to know the difference. I want a cute tiny puppy that I can go for walks with.....Just please help!

Last week my cat Reeky died, it was all very sudden, he was off his food for a few days before and kept laying in the same place by my house. on wednesday i found him dead.
Reeky only came to live with us last year when my cat (Cindy) of 21 years went blind and got abcesses and had to be put down, he'd been wandering about outside for 6 months or so but he moved in the day Cindy was put to sleep. i think he knew that Cindy was ill and going to die so he just walked right in and made himself at home!
Another cat (Sizzla) turned up and has been hanging about outside for the last few months and again, he moved in the day Reeky died he went round claiming everything that was Reeky's but the really weird thing is that Sizzla is always sitting in front of or just to the side of Reekys grave just looking. he's been there for on and off for 6 days now and we don't know why. has anyone else had anything similar? i hope Sizzla's not going to dig up Reeky's grave. Reeky & Sizzla were enemys!

Was talking to my girlfriend the other day and we were not sure what to do about our Christmas tree this year. I know my Maine Coon will just knaw on the needles where she can reach, but the other one scares me. I'm afraid he's going to have a field day with th ornements. He's generally not destructive, he just likes to get into things. So any ideas?

One of my cats sits directly on our radiator (when it's on!) as the radiator has a flat box top. She gets very warm. Is this bad for cats? I remember being told as a child not to sit on the radiator but can't remember why it was bad for you. Does anyone else's cat do this?

We have a 3 year old golden retriever that we are having problems walking on a lead. We have tried a Halti that did work but she didnt really like it. If we offer our dog a treat we have her attention for a while but she loses interest if we dont give it to her quite quickly. The main problem is that she can be walking quite nicely but then if she smells something interesting she will stop which is beginning to hurt my arm. How can I keep my dog interested enough so she doesnt pull or stop while on the lead?

P.S We have taken her to classes when she was younger and didnt have a problem when in the class and is very good with other commands such as sit, leave, stay and recall.

Even when humans sit on a blanket on cold and wet ground we get stiff and cold. Why don't animals like sheep and cows?
