We let her out on the leash all the time and she goes but if we are not constintly on her and she needs to go she runs off somewhere in the house and goes. Is it getting to late to totaly train her from doing this?! Please help me on what to do -

I have a Jack right now and have had a Poodle in the past so I know how you feel. Everytime that they wake up you MUST take them out, that is when their bladder is the fullest. As far as accidents from the bowels pick one up, let them smell it, and take it and the dog outside and just keep taking the dog to that spot. It is a long hard battle filled with curse words and headaches but in the end it is all worth it.

First, keep a sheet of newspaper by the back or front door. When she does a poo you pick her up, ALMOST touch her nose to what she did, then tap her gently on the nose and tell her NO.

Then go and put her on the paper straight away and say HERE.
Then walk away and ignore her for a bit.

You need to do this EVERY time it happens. Keep one of her favourite biscuits ready in a cupboard in case she does her business on the paper and then heap the praise on her, pointing to what she did and telling over again how good she is.

Hopefully she will eventually learn to use the paper.

Then one day put the paper outside, making sure she sees you putting it out. Rpeat steps one if she starts doing her business inside but hopefully she will scratch the door to be let out to her newspaper. When that happens give her a biscuit and heap praise again.

If when you are out she does her business give her the biscuit then and there.

Also walk her the same time every day. This will allow her to judge more easily if she can wait to do her business outside, or not.

She is telling you she needs to go to the bathroom - you said it yourself. She runs off somewhere. As soon as you see her do that, get her and take her outside.

She is still young; you should be keeping her in the room with you so that you can keep an eye on her.

Whenever she goes outside then praise her, when she goes inside scold her. Eventualy she will understand, that is unless she is unintelligent.

Crate training is the best method.

i would suggest to bring a little toilet, or give a reward for every time she uses the toilet
