When you say "nurse back to health" what is wrong with him? If it is a respritory infection there is not a lot you can do. They are quite often fatal. If it is just malnourishment then just getting him on a good diet will help. They like fresh vegetables, crackers, standard pet store mouse/rodent food, and fresh water. Maybe get some peanut butter crackers out of a vending machine until you get some mouse food. You can put the water in a VERY small/shallow bowl until you can get a water bottle. Also, whatever you have him in make sure he can't chew his way out of it and line it with paper towels until you get some bedding (most people use pine shavings but aspen is the best - DO NOT use cedar as it will kill him). And please don't give him any more chocolate, they like the taste of if but it is very unhealthy for him. (Most animals simply can't digest chocolate.)

If it has a damaged leg then there by and large isnt so much you would do for it, it wont be capable to outlive within the wild. If it was once me on your role I might maintain it over night time, feed it a few hen seed or some thing an identical that you just could have across the apartment, provide it a few water and a few hay or bedding and spot how it's within the morning, the probabilities are it by and large wont make it but when it does and it kind of feels to be bigger then you definately would free up it again wherein you believe it could have got here from and maintain your cats in for the day!

mice like crackers and sunflower seed (not salted) and dry cereal, like cheerios or cornflakes, and dry dog/cat food. make sure it has water. put some peanutbutter on the cracker. u can also buy mouse food at a petstore or something. u can keep it in an aquarium or something else but make sure he cant chew through it and cant jump out.
