There are many worm parasites of cats and the actual treatment should first determine which species is involved. Most intestinal worms worms are white which are ascarids or round worms and can be treated with many of the medications available at a pet store. The color suggests it might be something different. There are four major types of worms in cats, the roundworm, the tapeworm (seldom vomited) hookworms which are microscopic and whipworms that are more common in dogs than in cats. It would be best to take the animal to a vet, but if it is not possible or convenient, Panacur will do well for most of the parasites. Piperazine is an old stand-by for round worms, and a very old home remedy was finely ground pumpkin seeds mixed with their foods. No matter what OTC medicine you use...make certain that the product specifically says that it is safe for cats!

Go to the vet right away. This is especially important since these worms can be transferred to people. The worming medication at walmart doesn't work so don't bother just call your vet. The last thing you want is worms.

Your vet may prescribe Panacur, which will rid your kitten of hook, whip, and round worms. Sounds like this is what you should ask for. Panacur is a paste that you can squirt into their mouth, typically once a day for three days.

I would defininely take him to a vet. He could have intestinal parasites like round, hook, or tapeworms. Or he could have heartworms which can be life threatening. None of these are too difficult or expensive to treat. They have less expensive, slower treatments for heartworms now that are alot easier on the animal
