I know there's no chance of him coming back. I've checked everywhere and it's been 3 months.

I know that Feline Pine can be used for compost, but what about the cat food? Are there any other uses?

Or should I just throw it out?

I know there is alot of questions out there like this but I really need so first hand experiance. My Daughters( 7+8 ) have been asking for a pocket pet for a few years now and I think they are getting old enought to take care of one. Now I know I will be doing the most of the work, but i only work 3 days per week so I do have some extra time. I have been doing some research online and have desided on a bunny or Guinea Pig for christmas. What one is better all around with kids? I had one of each when I was younger. What i remember most on the bad side was the bunny sprayed everything. The Pigs never let us touch them they ran to the other sides of the cage. Both were rescues though. Please help!!!

My dog doesn't have fleas anymore (just residue in the fur but you can brush that out) and we treated her with Heartguard Plus and along with my cat. Now my house is overun with fleas! There's fleas everywhere! I have bites ALL over my body and it's getting the point where I'm scared to go to sleep. We've used the spray around the beds, thourghly vaccummed the carpets, rugs and furniture. Tomarrow we are thinking about buying a flea bomb but before we do is there any other ways of getting rid of them. Also when it comes to flea bites are they really bad? Please tell me some backround about fleas themselves too. Thank you!

My family has a three year old yellow lab. We buy him the strongest harnesses we can find. He wears his harness during the day because we are gone during the mornings and sometimes people will open and close our gate during the day when we are all gone (we share a yard with our neighbors). The problem is, he keeps chewing his harnesses off. We have bought the strongest kind we can find and we can't tell him no when we catch him chewing his harness because he does it when no one is around. Help?

In 3-5 weeks I have to give my foster kitten and her mother back to the rescue agency. Can you give me some advice on how to be strong? Is it okay to cry? I will miss them terriebly. I would keep them but I already have 3 cats and 1 dog and 3 birds and can not keep any more animals.

Thanks

I have an 8 year old female cat. She is spayed and declawed. She has been peeing on the carpet in my houses for 7 years. She has been taken to the vet on several occassions and no urinary tract infections. I have moved into a new home with laminate wood floors, and she continues to pee on the wood. I now have her secluded in the garage because she can't control herself. She has started peeing in the garage, too. Her litter box is clean. I just don't know what to do anymore. She is declawed so I am having a hard time putting her outside without any means of protection. I am at my wits end and just cannot seem to deal with this anymore. Please, if someone has an idea. I am willing to send her to a shelter if need be. I just have no clue! Thanks.

I have recently purchased three new dogs, a French Poodle a German Shepherd and an Afghan Hound, and I am having problems communicating with them You know, sit, heel, stand, that sort of thing. Should I have purchased an Irish Setter, Manchester Terrier, and an Old English Sheepdog. I don't fancy learning three new languages "Worried"!!!!!

Earlier today I noticed she was getting a bit of a paunch.

"Sophie," I said, "you're getting a wee bit pudgy around the middle."

I don't know if it's my fault for buying the really good kinds of cat food, or my fiancé's, for feeding her too many cat treats.

Anyway, now she's curled up in the tiniest ball I've ever seen her curled up in. I've obviously made her all self-conscious, and I feel awful about it.

"Look," I said, "I've got a little extra around the middle too. It's no big deal." Nope; still trying to wedge part of herself between the sofa cushion, hanging her head down.

I tried to tell her she was fine -- not fat at all, really, and we already have some "for less active indoor cats" food here to set out, but maybe I could've just shut my mouth and set it out.

How can I reassure her? I feel awful.

While he has the typical Yorkie coloring, he stands 13 inches tall, and people are always remarking on what a lovely little schnouser I have. And if they don't complement the schnouser, they complement me on my unusual scotty.

When she barks, she's already in attack mode. So I want to stop her from the moment she starts growling. Wondering if those anti-bark collars would do that.
