I think your hubby should get a check up if he is getting a lot of upset stomachs. he may have IBS caused by stress or maybe an ulcer.. It may be a change of diet will solve the problem. no harm in going trying a doc rather than acting like a dog.
Your kidding urself on trying dog biscuits

Maybe he should see a doctor, that's not normal to have a lot of upset stomachs.
In the war when my mum didn't have anything to eat, mum used to be given broken dog biscuits. She went on to have 6 kids and is 82 years old, so in answer to your question, no, they are not bad for you.

Most dog food and biscuits are produced to be human grade and can be eaten. I would advise checking out a health food store for charcoal tablets for your husband and have him check in with his doctor.

Dog biscuits aren't per se bad for humans.
In the factories where they make dog and or cat biscuits there are people (yes, humans ;-) ) who actually taste the cookies themselfs to see if they are ok.
It may sound sick to some people but it does really happen.

Any dog biscuit is going to be made for the strength of dog chewing; very hard. Other than that, it will not hurt you.

no problem with eating dog biscuits as the law states dog and cat food as to be to the standards for humans to eat otherwise it is not healthy effort for animals,so there is more tests done to pass dog and cat food than human food so he be fine

No they aren't bad for humans at all, all animal feeds have to be fit for human consumption, never have quite figured out why, only thing i can think of is so that the standards stay high.

Well, my little cousin ate a dog biscuit when he was young and he's fine. Actually, he's a tad weird... Ask a doctor, ha.
