I am sure they can feel the cold. My dogs gets sore legs sitting outside in the cold [ his choice, waiting for his boss ] . I don't think anyone has ever asked the animals, people just presume animals cannot feel pain, cold etc. :))))

I think they do. Maybe their fur is better insulation than our clothes, which might help. Certainly I would imagine that cows with thin coats suffer in bad weather.
I went grape-picking in France one year. It was November, and very damp and misty. All the farms had a dog chained up outside. The one I stayed on had an Alsation which could hardly stand up, its legs were so stiff.

animals feel the same cold as us but they just get on with it, they dont have the luxury of a nice warm bed, cows and sheep both get arthiritis through the cold along with lots of other problems. all animals feel EXACTLY the same pain as we do but wheras we have a high pain emotion animals dont often show the pain they are in.

Animals do get stiff and feel the cold! Unfortunately, many of them have no option other than to weather it out. No pun intended.

They do. humans are real wusses, we've invented ways to stop ourselves feeling cold so when we do feel it we go very stiff. Animals have spent millions of years adapting to their surroundings, they do feel the cold but they rarely get stiff because of it, because they've adapted to the circumstances they're in.

I think they do feel the cold my husband gets me cross when he throws our cat out saying she needs fresh air I always say she was comfy and it is cold outside how would he like it his reply is always: "She has fur" I think their skin is much thicker than ours and also the fur acts as protection at the moment my cat is outside fast asleep on a bit of plastic and it is cold outside but she is as happy as larry so perhaps fur is the answer.

Sheep and cows are used to it. Pretty much straight after they are born that's what the have to adapt to.

as I am animal planet junkie, I've learned animals do feel pain and they get arthritis in their legs (vets treat them for that) so I think that they do feel the cold and probally the same as we do(they just cant talk to complain)
