Pets - 15 October 2006

He jumped out of an open window the night of July 31st. Since then we have undergone exhaustive search efforts. We have checked with animal control and animal shelters, put up flyers door-to-door in ours and surrounding neighborhoods, searched on foot day and night calling his name, put ads online and check for found cats online and in the newpaper, etc.

He was about a year-and-a-half old. He was not neutered. Is it possible that he found a female to mate with and is staying with her? Or is it likely that somebody has taken him into their home?

I don't want to give up hope of finding him. He was happy at home and we were very close. I miss him so much.

I have a dog that I keep in a crate overnight. When she is in there she whines constantly and it will go for hours and hours on end. I need to teach her that it is not good to whine when she is in her crate and have read to make the environment uncomfortable when she is whining...and the article recommended that I make a loud, undesirable noise somewhere where she cannot see me. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas of things that make very loud noises...? Thanks for your help.

i have a 1 year old manx cat who has continous bowl/intestional problems she is very small and just had a litter of 5 kittens 3 died due to genetic malfunctions i try to keep her on a strict diet but her runny bowls are getting worse getting her spade in november she eats good has plenty of energy now but had very little milk for the two remaining kittens now 4 weeks old and doing fine

I have two love birds . my real pet. one of them .I let the wing feathers grow out .after seven months of them just liveing free in my bedroom. he loves me. will come fly to me .nibbles my ear kiss s me etc. i have taken him out side and sit with him on my shoulder.on the patio.a number of times . but now i wonder if he will fly away. and stay gone? think he will come back to me if he does fly to a tree are something. he has never acted like he wonts away from me. anyone every let them out to fly?

i did a question before cause my bothers mate cliff has a puppy that has thrown up 2ngt an it had roundworm and tapeworm in the sick moving around and wondered what to do and everyone has told me to tell him to take it to the vets and i told him and he just said he was going to dowze it with the stuff for sheep so i asked if that would do or not and i got told no as it can make it sicker or kill it. and he has allready done it as he thinks that the sheep stuff will work and he aint listened to me at all and wonder what will happen and what to do

What is another way to get rid of fleas...so far we have bombed the house numerous times and also bathed the animals (3cats and 2dogs) numerous times as well. We also have gotten the drops for them (the kind you put on the back of their necks). And we still have them. Any suggestions or ideas???

It poops in my living room so i kick it in the butt, and i also take my slipper and hit it, once in a while i get frustrated enough and i punch it in the back, is it ok? He seems to be pooping less in the living room.

Our beardie is almost a year old and licks his rocks all the time, when we put in new sand he spends a great time on licking it. I know other animals I have had needed a salt ring or something in their cage so I was wondering if our little dragon needed more salt to his diet too??? He is health and seems to be growing well and we give him a large variety of foods. But I can't find anything telling about salt??
