One betta is on one side and one is on the other. They just got in and they are flaring a lot! Is this ok? The divider is blue but kind of see through. They can't get to each other. Is this ok or should I have two tanks?

I put Frontline on all my pets now I need to know what is the safest way for me to kill the fleas in my house. I don't want to use anything toxic or with bad fumes because I'm pregnant. I had read somewhere that Borax laundry detergent on the carpet kills fleas - does anyone know if this or any other home remedies work? Or any non-toxic products I can buy?

He had a thyroid condition when we adopted him at 4 yrs of age. we were not told about this. The Vet told us. We knew he was overweight but didn't know why. He is now 9 plus yrs old. I know he's in pain, I can see it in his eyes. Every time I discuss the issue of putting him ou of his misery, Sundance manages to gallop up to me and shake his head no. Seriously. I am not kidding here. I am going to give him his last supper. Any suggestions on food and how I can handle my future loss will be appreciated. Diana

I have 3 dogs and, although I check for fleas almost daily and give them all both garlic capsules and brewers yeast tabs everyday, I cant get rid of the fleas. I use preparations for the carpets and furniture, steam clean, spray, hoover every day and still they come. Apart from getting rid of the dogs and moving house...what can I do?

I just brought home a new kitten! He used to live on a farm. He isn't eating much, and hasn't used his litter box yet.

I have three questions: He seems VERY scared of his new surroundings. Is that normal? He also shakes a lot. Is that from being scared? I do pet him, and he relaxes and purrs, but he also seems frightened at the same time. Finally, what is the best way to train him to use a litter box?

My cat Toby thinks she can jump on the table. It is not acceptable. I constantly am taking her off the table and placing her down. I never yell at her or physical harm her in any way. Would it be cruel to spray her a tiny spirtz of water when she goes up there to teach her not to? Is this cruel? Shes not a kitten and is over 3 years old.

I have 2 dogs and each weighs about 40-50 pounds. They've lived outdoors their whole lives, but when winter comes around, it's hard for them. We purposely bought one large doghouse so that they could cuddle together (like in 1997). Of course, when it was cold we brought them inside...but we cannot keep dogs indoors. What would be the warmest dog house that's within the range of $50-$100?? Based on you and your dogs' experiences can you tell me what is the warmest doghouse? Thanks.

She doesn't destroy anything but she relocates it. She does this with shoes, clothes, other items. Any ideas how to get her to stop?

I had an issue with alge and got 6-8 pea sized snails for the fish tank. I was wondering if they can start to mulitply at this size. I'm kinda hoping they wont mass produce and that the goldfish in the tank will eat the eggs....
