We just got a new dog and she loves to follow me around. if i leave she leaves, etc. but, my sisters want the dog to love them as much as she does me. what do i do?

Every time I buy ghost shrimp, they disappear within a couple of weeks. I've even tried putting them in the tank ALONE. Tank is covered, 28 gal, with rock, gravel, and UGF.
Why can't I KEEP them???

If you don't believe in ghosts or spirits please don't bother to answer this question. In my house you can always hear a door closing even when you know no one is around, hear knocking when no one is at the door, or hear banging in the closet when nothing is in there. So, I know for a fact my house is haunted. Also, I'm not the only one who had these expieriences. My family and friends have all witnessed this, so I refuse to believe we're ALL crazy and making this up. I have a two year old golden retriver and lately at night I see him attacking and fighting with something that I can't see. He has never been an agressive dog and has never bitten anyone in his life. He's usually a very quiet and gentle dog. Last night, he leaped in front of me and began barking. His barking turned into a deep vicious growl and then began bitting the air. I even took him to the vet to see if he has any behavioral problems. She said he was fine. Is he just seeing spirits? Please serious answers only.

My wife says that a cat has a memory span of about 2 weeks. We are discussing introducing a new pet into the home & she believes that after that 2 weeks the 2 cats we have will have no memory of the new pet never being here. We started with one kitten (sophie) & when she was about 7 months old we got a new kitten (puppy...yes, I, the husband, picked the name). At first, sophie was very standoffish, but true to my wife's theory, after a couple of weeks they were inseperable. Is it possible that she never remembers a time without puppy? You can now buy an Allerca kitten for like $3,950. It's a new cat breed that won't cause allergic reactions. Love cats but they make you scratch and sneeze? Not anymore. But the price is absurd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have found out my cat has fleas well its not my cat its a cat that we have ben looking after for a while. I totally hate fleas and I've chuked the cat outside. It left fleas on my shirt which i chuked into the wash. Please could you tell me if I did right an how could I get rid of the fleas?
Also how can I prevent the cat from gettin fleas?

My dog refuses to eat hard food. My friend told me this is bad for my dog. (a chihuauhua mix) But, I'm not sure this entirely true. Supposedl y she said that fedding my dog hard food is healthier.

Another question, my dog barley drinks water. This really concerns me...in fact, I haven't seen her drink water in two days. What can I do about this? She got spayed about a week ago, so this could be an explanation. But, she's eating regulary and already pretty active.

One last question, my girlfriend has another Chiuhaha mix. MY dog always tries to attack, and has bitten her once. It's odd, because the chiuhaha that would be considered the Alpha female isn't the one attacking her, like you would think. SInce...it's her territory. In fact, she's rather friendly until my dog starts attacking her. How can I get her to stop attacking the other dog?

The puppy is was to young to have been taken from it's mom. I advised her to buy puppy formula. When can she start solid foods? She gave the puppy cow's milk and the puppy threw up. Having a puppy so young is a big responsibility. What can she do at this point? help!!!!!!!!!!!

So my sister has a little dog tHAT IS A PRO MANIPULATOR. I have been trying to tell my sister for months that feeding a dog human food is bad. It has not stopped, now it even puts on a show when they feed her wet dog food like shes scared of it and wont come out to eat, so now thats the excuse she uses to keep feeding it real food.
From bean dip to salad, french fries, spaghetti, pizza, turkey, toast with jelly and butter.
I am not a big dog fan as it is and this is just repulsive to see.

Is this not BAD or unhealthy for the thing?

I've tried different kibbles - James Wellbeloved, Bakers, Royal Canin etc, mostly Purina. Also tried tempting him with soft food - pouches and tins. The vet says there is nothing wrong - his digestive system seems to work fine! He is a naturally skinny, tall, Yellow lab, very energetic but not putting on weight.
