Not really. Salt water fish don't drink at all. They get their moisture through reverse osmosis through their skin. Fresh water fish drink all the time, Not because they're thirsty, but because it's there!

Ocean fishes drink water in order to keep their body hydrated, so they drink continually, contrary to it freshwater fishes neither feel thirsty nor do they drink water, if they will drink even a little bit of water, they would swell up and potentially even explode.
