By far the Labrador Retriever, and I have owned a lot of dogs. The other breeds were nice but the Labs have totally impressed me with their intelligence, loyalty, versatilty, adaptabity, and their loving friendly personality.

Golden Retrievers, no doubt. They are so loyal and trustworthy, and they quickly grow on to you like your very best friend. It seems that sometimes they understand your problems and what's going on and they do their best to help, but you also can't shun them. You have to love and honor them and be a good master. Not the easiest dogs to train, but definitely the most rewarding.

Golden retrievers. Their primary goal in life (and I'm serious, this is the way they are) is to make you happy. Whenever they dissapoint you, it makes them sad. Goldens are easy to keep happy, because all you have to do is let them know that you appreciate them.
