We just got a new dog and she loves to follow me around. if i leave she leaves, etc. but, my sisters want the dog to love them as much as she does me. what do i do?

sounds to me like u are her "master". Shes going to love the whole family but shes always going to love u alot more because she regards u as her master. dont worry its ok be proud!! :) Dogs are just like that they are pack dogs and always have an alpha who they adore. and u are IT :) I had a rottweiler for 10 years and i was 15 when we got her and thats what happend to me. she followed me EVERYWHERE when i took a shower she was right there on the bathroom floor, everywhere i was she was. but she was my baby from the beginning to the end and i loved that about her. and now i have a 4 1/2 month old Dobie puppy and he follows me everywhere also my kids complain because he dont do that to them. So i know where u are coming from :) its alright just explain to them that dogs are not like us and always seem to be closer to one person in a family. The dog loves u all but just is closer to u not because of anything u did he/she just clicked with u it happens. feel free to email me anytime on this :)

Get the whole family involved in the dog. Everyone help train it and feed it. Everyone take turns doing the chores and training regarding the pup. Just allow everyone to interact with the dog in equal times. The pup'll learn to love everyone equally.

I don't really think there is anything you can do. I think a dog picks its master or the person they see as the leader of the herd and that is who they stick with. You can try to train her to like the others, but I don't think it will work, good luck.

Teach your sisters how to treat the dog.....how to pay attention to the dog, talk nice to it, play with it, feed it, etc.

Try leaving her with your sisters more often. Have them give her
some treats. You try going outside or to another room for a little
while so she has to spend time with them. Have them take her for
a walk. Hope this helps.
