I think the sound of a cat purring is one of the most soothing sounds in the world. My cats have the ability to make me feel better if I'm down simply by curling up in my lap and purring at me.

I love to hear the sound of a purring cat. It makes me happy to hear a cat purr. I think it's soothing and calming. I have even fell asleep listening to it.

i once read in a magazine, that a cats purr is a stress reliever .. this sounds kind of fake but its so true (to some pople), it really soothes me...

When I had a cat, it would help me fall asleep. Especially since she usually slept on me so I could feel her purring too. : )
