I live near a small wooded area in the country where crows roost, every evening thousands (not exaggerating) of them gather and fly in cirles around the sky, they also fly in groups towards eachother but never seem to crash. This fascinates us all in the house every evening. Any ideas why they do it????

My cat got an enema today, and has shown no further results at home. She may have to have another one, but she is on laxatose or what not so hopefully she will improve with that.

She was dehydrated. I was curious, how to get her to drink more water? I set up more water stations around my apartment with different types of bowls (maybe she would prefer a different type) but that is about all I came up with.

How do you get your cat to drink more water? And do you have any tips for a constipated cat, I know of vegetable oil & pumpkin.

My three year old Maine Coon just vomited a whole lot of clear liquid with little signs of food. I just gave him a new flavor of food and he ate a little and just drank a lot of his water. I was in bed and I just heard him vomiting, it was mostly all liquid as I said. He doesn't have diarrhea and when he vomited his eyes looked a little watery but I think that was from the amount and the force. I gave him clean water afterwards and he drank a lot of it. I am not sure if I should be worried or maybe it was a hairball? He is a long haired cat, so that may be it. Please help someone, i am worried.

I bought a kitty for my 6 year old son. We had it for 3 weeks now and tonight our dog killed it. My son doesn't know the the kitty is dead, and I dont know how and if I should tell him. Also how do I punish the dog? (the dog has never been agressive to my son or poeple in general)

I have a 2 and a half year old female pitbull. Latley she has been real destructive. I mean I've always had a problem with her digging which I still haven't managed to stop that yet so any help with that would be great. But back to my original question, my dog stays outside and she has ruin my whole screen door. She would bump the screen door off the track with her nose and eventually put a tear at the bottom of the screen. Well today she ran through the screen ripping the screen net completely. So I had put her in the garage (Which I do every once in a while when its too cold or raining) and the she started clawing at the garage door really bad so I let her back outside. I took the screen door off and put that in the garage, but now she is starting to claw my glass door and trying to bump it off like the screen. I can afford to fix the screen door but not my sliding glass door. I tried to be stern and get her to stop but nothing worked. Can someone please help?

We have a Shih Tzu (super friendly) in need of a good home because we recently found out that my husband is allergic to it. We had him for over two years, and have tried to keep him. It's a very hard decision, but it's him or my husband. He comes with crate, suitcase, doggies sweaters, brushes etc. He is nuttered and trained. In return my little girls will need little updates.

My boyfriend and I recently bought a dwarf hamster, and he went to go pick him up when he bit him, and his natural reaction was to move his hand back, but our hamster hit the floor. He's bleeding out of his anus, it was bad but it's lightening up, but it's been about 45 minutes-an hour and it hasn't stopped. However, he's still active as ever. Is that a good sign, should we take him to the vet, or should we be prepared for the worst?

I'm collecting information on where and when these anomalies occur. Nobody knows much about what causes Odd-Eye in rats so It helps to hear about ones with different coat colors and eye colors(red-black, ruby-black, ruby-pink, etc). Even age helps because sometimes a rat with red eyes will have one that turns black at the age of 7-8 weeks! I want to know all you remember, like for example an OE that has babies with no OE, but with High White markings that seem to have come from nowhere, (dark colors on the high portions of the body only, along the spine) tells me that the traits are indeed connected, like I thought. I'm adding everyone else's experiences to my own. So even if you don't know a lot about rats, thank you for you input!

He's not our cat but he's always around our house. He's very, very friendly (and he clearly has been neutered) and we don't mind having him around, but i see him "backing up" and sticking his tail up at EVERYTHING. I don't seem to smell anything, is it just a habit for him?
I'm just worried because even when we're outside with the baby he will lift his tail on the baby's chair or his other things.

She's shy and nervous, what can I do to make her more comfortable with me, do I just leave her to settle and eventually she'll make her way to me?

I have a 10-month old mixed lab breed female dog. For nearly 3, maybe 4 months, she has been badly limping and not using one of her back legs at all. She can still get around just fine and can even run (but not too fast). It does not seem like it hurts her.

Our other two dogs seemed to go through a "limping stage" when they were puppies as well. Maybe to make us feel sorry for them, and to give them more attention? But they both soon grew out of this. But it did not take 3/4 months for them to grow out of it!

Does my little puppy have hip dysplasia? My parents won't take her to the vet because they know, if they do, they will not be able to afford surgery for her (if needed), and are not willing to pay a lot of money on a dog (which is logical).

Also, when she sits down, she sits real funny. Like a normal dog will sit on her hind legs. This puppy almost sits on her side, to avoid sitting on this one leg. But whenever we touch it, she never yelps, and never acts like it hurts.
