i have noticed this over the years also...some cats do have more hair between their eyes and ears....i have 3 cats and 2 of them have thinner hair than the other one does in this area and they dont have fleas or any type of skin condition...if you want go to your local shelter and look at all those cats and pay attention to any cat you see any where else..you will find this to be normal for some and others will have more hair but you can always check with your vet if you are not sure

No ... it's not ok.
My cat had the same problem. I took him to the vet and found out that his hair loss was the result of ear mites. Look inside your cat's ears with a flashlight. It should be quite pink ... if you see any dark patches, she more than likely has ear mites. You may be able to buy medication at a pet store, or your vet can sell you the required medication. Be sure to have your kitty looked at a.s.a.p. ... ear mites are very irritating. Good luck to you and your new kitty. :)

My 14 year old black cat has never had much hair in that area. Don't know why. The rest of her hair is thick & shiny but in front of the ears is really thin. Go figure!

Unless she's a sphynx then I'd be a tad worried. She may have an allergy to fleas or possibly even ringworm. You might want to see a vet soon.

my kitten didn't have a lot of hair when i first got her. she looked like yoda. it may be that she is growing faster than her hair can keep up. wait a little while and if it doesn't grow in, take her to the vet.

Could be fleas, an allergy, poor diet, or dry scalp.
