The pad is found on the underside of all four of the paws. The digits are their toes, so a digital pad is the pad of the feet. There are 4 pads on the underside of the foot and 1 small pad on the back of the leg down by the paw.

*Edited to add* Whoops!!! I meant to type *5* pads on the underside of the foot and 1 small pad on the back of the leg down by the paw (but only on the 2 front feet). I really should try not to type so fast :)

A digit is a finger or a toe, so the digital pad would be the soft underside of the dog's toe.

The pads are the bottoms of the dog's feet. The digital pad refers to the pads that are specifically under the dog's toes.
