I am getting a black kitten. I want a cool name for her. Something that has a witches familiar type ring to it would be cool. I don't want blacky or smoky. Those are not original and very blah.

Ebony is rather elegant, although not all that original. Also Midnight- that's pretty darn witchy-sounding!I had a dog called Lucifer, so I'd obviously recommend that one. Or Tara? Oryou could name it something normally associated with white, eg. Purity or something heaven-related eg. Seraphim? (yes, I know that's a plural, but it's a nice word!)

Sammy because if you make a name a cat with the e sound at the end your cat may listen better and Sammy goes good with black and grey tabby cats take it from someone who has studied for three years

you should name it one of the following
abbadon it means angel of the abyss
arhiman its the name of the zorastirian god of evil
fenris the nordic shadow wolf who swallows the sun(better name for a dog)
hecate greek godess of gateways and pathways traveled by night
i hope you name your cat one of these names it would be better than a generic name like smoky
