I picked up my 6 week old siant bernard this mornign after i got out of work. She was gaven to a friend of mine when she was a little over 4 weeks old. Maggy is her name. Maggy has been eating puppy food since 4 weeks. and like i said she is 6 weeks old now. My friend gave her to me. So i am not dumb and i would have not of took her if she was sick. When i first seen her She was perfect jumping and playing, We got her in to the car, and since the car ride she has been kinda "dopey". Im not shure if it is bringing her in to a warm house from being outside all the time or what. But she has done nothing but sleep since i got her. she went potty outside a few times. but then when i was sleeping, i had her on the couch wiht me. I woke up to her gagging; she has been throwing up clear thick liquid after she drinks water. and a few mins ago she started throwing up clear mustard colored liquid. She has Diareah, Please some one help me. I dont have money right now, 4 a vet.

It's always my nose! And why does she knead me...it kinda hurts sometimes.

I think it was because she was taken from her mommy too soon.

Has anyone ever had to give your dog to another family because of certain reasons. Im asking because Im really sad about it and I know he is going to have a better home but I just miss him so much. How long will I feel this way and do you think hes sad to? Now he has another dog to be with and a loving family but I just dont want to feel like this forever.

it doesn't necessarily have to be huge We don't have abig yard. And he would have to be patient with my son. He has difficulty understanding why he cannot do certain things to my current dog, like climbing on the dog and tugging her ears and tail. we don't let him abuse my dog but he will get to her before i can split them up and sometimes he gets in a good lick or two. She is not the right dog for him And he is very attached to her so I would like to get him one that is better suited for his type of play. Also she is getting old and she needs a break from him

I never see dogs roaming around neighbor's yards looking for rodents and small birds; likewise, I don't see people walking their cats, either.

my dog is about 5 years old. hes in good health but he has some serious knee problems. so he is on a Steroid. it give him incredibly horrible gas. but now he has this very loug gurgling noise in his tummy, when I put my hand on his tummuy to feel it it feels like there is water rushing. my husband things it correlates with his breathing, but he doesnt seem to be in any pain or any discomfort so I am not worried about a twisted stomach, could it just be gas moving around in there, or does anyone know about any side affects from steroids like a perforated stomach or anything like that?

This may seem normal for some dogs, but others, big and small can live up way more than 14 years. the oldest dog was a mongel and died at 29 and was a vegan, and another dog, a collie, was 27. that means that people could live up to 203, but really... does anyone know of any 203 year olds? any one else agree?

There are bugs crawling on my cat down where he goes to the bathroom. There is like only one bug at a time he is not a out door cat so I dont know how he could get fleas. Also he has been laying on our beds and stuff so does that mean we have these bugs on our stuff

I have a 4 year old sheltie baby charlie. he was a showdog for 6 months, but was so skitish she gave him away. When we got him, any little thing would scare him. one time i dropped the dog dish with food in it and he didn't eat for that whole day, and on time he pied himself when my fat got scared when a door slammed and knocked his dish off a chair. hes way better now. there is only a few things hes afraid of. one is my dad, he always hated him even though my dad didn't do anything bad to him ever. the other, is baloons. hes get so scared when he sees them. for my brother's birthday there was a whole bunch of ballonons in the kitchen and he was hiding behind me all the time, lol. so cute.

Ok...he is a really small red kitten that I got and convinced my dad that it was just a stray that "appeared" at our house. He is really sweet and loving, but likes to attack people when they walk by. He thrives on attention and likes to climb up my leg and sit on my shoulder...any suggestions?

i am not sure of his age he is tiny he has been eating but just a little and he has not drank any water since we got him yesturday so i gave him a little of that milk and want to make sure it is okay and also hard food or soft which is better i gave him hard with a little water on it.
