the bigger one has shown great improvment but the smaller one how ever has metrobolic bone disease my ? is what can be done and will it get worse with proper care or better or will it stay bout the same ?

i signed up to volunteer at an animal shelter near my house.
problem? I clamp up and tear up (acctually I cry histerically) every time I go to a shelter and see animals in cages, and unwanted, and sick, and abused, and emanciated.
now i'm having second thoughts (i don't know if i could take it).

last time when i went to the shelter to get a dog, I couldn't walk through the cages. i left right away. someone had to hand me a tissue cause i started cyring really bad.

i want to help animals and give them my time, but how am i going to cope? any tips??

Would this be ok for my 20 gal? I was thinking of about 5 guppies, 2 platies, 1 dwarf gourami, and a couple of oto's. Would all of those fit in my tank ok? Do oto's both eat algae, and left overs on the bottom?

She is at riskof being sold to a pet store because of my mom. She is about two months old and I ALWAYS let her walk onto my hand before a take her out of her ten gal. tank plus tank topper shared with her mom. All I did was set my hand down on the floor she was playing on and she bit hard.

My cat is constipated and I have gone to 3 pet stores and none of them had any laxatives. I bought some hairball laxitive medicine because I was told it includes simular ingredients.

Are there any home remedies to help her along? She has loss her appetite and used to throw up but hasn't for four days.

Gosh, my bf got 2 cats and one dog, so his clothes and apt is all over animal's hairs which makes me sick-even though I do LOVE PETS but I can not deal with so much hairs all over our world, car, bedroom, table, chair, everywhere.
