put the male and female together and they will breed. when the female looks like shes getting fatter (maybe for about 2 weeks)put her in a breeder net and she will have her fry about a month after you put the 2 together. when the female has the fry take her out of the breeder net.

You need to know which one is male and which one is female :-)
The ventral fin (the one on the "bottom" of the fish) is the giveaway - males have a pointy one, and the female is more fan looking.
Basically, mollies tend to breed like rabbits. Make sure you take the babies out of the tank so they don't get sucked up into the filter system. And, mollies are live-bearers, not egg layers.
Hope this helps!

breeding mollies is easy.mollies can breed with sordtails, sail fin mollies and black mollies because they are all from the same family .mollies are live-bearers which means they don t lay the eggs and you have to wait 24 hours for them to hatch.they give birth to young that are born alive like a mammal would (but their not mammals).

TELLING THE SEXES

sexing mollies is easy.sail fin mollies are different because the males have a large dorsal fin and the females are 10mm taller
black mollies have no good info on sexing them
sword fishes are easy male have a sword shaped point on their tail fin,(it like a mollies tail but at the bottom of the tail is the point)

Gd luck on your breeding

breeding mollies should be quite easy. you should have at least three females to every male to keep the male from harrasing the female too bad. also... mollies need a good bit of salt compared to other freshwater fish. keep your tank at around 78-80 degrees and everything will be good :)

mollies are easy to breed and it usually happens pretty fast just make sure they have some aquarium salt in their water it helps alot just put them together you dont even have to have a breeding net just make sure they have plenty of greenery in their tank live or plastic that way the babies can hide until they are big enough to not be eaten or swallowed by accident platies are also easy to breed and they can be mixed with mollies they are yellow or red and add color to your tank good luck they are good for stress and i love mine

Learn to sex mollies (it's easy) then keep about 3 females per male keep the tank planted well and keep agressive fish out of the tank.
