Gosh, my bf got 2 cats and one dog, so his clothes and apt is all over animal's hairs which makes me sick-even though I do LOVE PETS but I can not deal with so much hairs all over our world, car, bedroom, table, chair, everywhere. Do you have any good house clean strategy to share? Anything I can get the hair out of clothes? Thanks!

vacuum vacuum vacuum! Arm & Hammer makes a powder you can sprinkle on the carpet let it sit for 15 min then vacuum it up...it will release the pet hair from the carpet and couch and anything with fabric. Another major thing is change your vacuum bag or filter A LOT because the hair will clog it up and reduce suction and the hair will remain. Oh and brushing the animals (cats and dogs) will keep them from shedding like crazy...if they dont like the brush give treats while brushing and they will learn to associate the brush with good things (i.e. treats) and will learn to sit through it better. As for hair on the tables the animals need to learn to stay off of the tables...one good tip is to get a table cloth and cover it in two-sided tape and when you are not using the table put the cloth on it...animals especially cats hate walking on tape. They will soon quit and learn to stay off the table. Hope I've helped...I own the world's naughtiest cat I've had to deal with all those problems too.

I live with 14 dogs and 5 cats, so I no exactly how you feel. I have found that the best thing to use is a shop vac to suck up all of the hair. A regualr vacuum cleaner doesn't work because the hair just clogs it up. If you already have a build up of hair on your furniture then you can use a damp sponge and go over the furniture in small circles. This will gather the hair into little balls that you can then just pick up. My pet hair problem is so bad that I got rid of all my carpet, everything is tile now. I cover all of my cloth furniture, that way I can just pick up to covers, take them outside and shake them out then throw em in the washer. It's easier than trying to clean the sofa!
As for your clothes, the only thing I can suggest there is to buy a lint roller, which is really nothing more than tape on a roll. Use it just before you go out the door. Use a covered clothes hamper so that they can't get to your dirty clothes and keep everything clean in a drawer, closet, or container with a lid so that they can't get to them either.
There isn't an easy solution, but I still would rather have my pets (hair and all) than to not have them! Good luck.

you need to crate train them, you might think that is cruel, but it's not. my 11 lb. chihapoo loves her cage, it's a security blanket. if he/she wines or barks while in the cage at night, put a blanket over the cage and try music. the cage needs to have a separator in it. the dog should only have enough room to be able to turn around and lay down. any more than that they will pee and poo on one end of cage and sleep in the other. dogs hate to pee or poo in there beds, it's natural. over time keep moving the separator back farther giving it more room. eventually you can remove the separator all together and it shouldn't go potty in cage any more. as soon as you get up in morning or get home from work. take it straight outside, and praise it when it potties outside, make a real big deal about it, they'll get the hint that this is good. you can't punish a dog after it goes potty in house, you got to catch it in the act b4 it will know why your scolding him/her. and if you rub its nose in the poo or pee, it will just learn to hide and poo or pee,you don't want that! lol it takes a little patients but it works great! my dog is in it's cage for 8 hours a day 5 days a week, and it does not pee or poo in the cage or my house. she loves her cage, always going in it when she doesn't have to. well hope this helped.

It helps to brush the animals regularly. Also, to vacuum up the hair as often as you have to. You don't say what type of dog or cats he has. There really is no reason to get rid of the animals with some proper grooming.

i don't really think there is any good way to clean your house and get all of the hairs gone. so the only thing i can think of is 1 loss the pets or 2 tell your slef to just think there is no hair around you
Sorry i was not much luck.
