please help!! me and my hubby want 2 differnet dogs and we don't have the money to get both. we went to a puppy place and found the cuttest 1/2 husky and 1/2 something else but my hubby always wanted a st benard and he found one , but we have to have it sent to us and just sending it is almost 300 dollers! we have a 9 month old and i'm scared the st benard will be way to big plus i fell in love with the husky. HELP!!!

I just got one, but he tried to run away. Sometimes he jumps all over me, and try to "play bite" me, which I hate. How would I train him to do none of the above??

i was playing with my dog and she started licking my face and getting all excited. and i was sitting on the floor watching tv and all of a sudden she wraps her arms (paws) whatever around my arm and starts like humping it??!?! and yes its a SHE! then all of a sudden she just stopped. and a few minutes later she tried to do it again. is there anything wrong with her? does she like think shes a male or something?? im really confused o_0 .... oh and shes like 1 year old

I just adopted a 3mo old kitten from the pound, and it is recovering from being spayed, and has a cold as well. I got it two days ago (after it had surgey) and it hasnt eaten anything. It drink plenty of water.... took it to the vet today for the free check up, and the vet wasnt too concerned. any one have ideas how to get it to eat?

Ok I have a ferret & she doesnt smell all that bad. The only thing is that her poop smells but as long as I keep the litter box extremly clean ; there isnt really a problem. I am thinking of getting another ferret & I'm just curious - will it stink really bad or will it be fine as long as I keep everything clean ? ( I already do keep her cage clean but I dont want things to get crazy )

by giving the dog its shots at home, not to be funny, but shouldnt we go to the vet or are they the same thing? i never heard of people giving their own dogs shots, and the puppy is 7months. do we need to give her more shots and what else do we need to do to make her legal and licensed.? i mean how often do we bathe her? how can we tell if she got fleas? or sick how can you tell if a dog is sick? i know she loves my son she just lays on him and stares at him when he takes her walking. but should we go on and take here to the vet to get some more shots and how often

i have a boston terrier and a lionhead rabbit that i just got and we cant seem to get them together without the dog nipping him
we are taking the muzzle route with the terrier but we dont want to restrict her like that for to long...any suggestions?

HELP!!I just went outside to move my car and found 5 newborn kittens under it. The mother ran across the street. I think it is a feral cat because I have seen it around before and it always gets scared and runs off. I put the kittens in a large plastic trash can (on its side) with a towel inside and put a can of tuna in front of it to lure the momma cat to it. Its been about an hour and the momma cat hasn't come back yet. It is raining and cold around here and I am afraid they will get cold and hungry. Do you think the momma will come back? What do I do if she doesn't come back? The animal shelter isn't open around here on the weekends and I can't keep the cats.(hubby allergic)
