You are seeing a dominance behavior. She is letting you know that she is the top dog in the relationship.
Fix the problem now.
Let her know that that type of behavior will not be tolerated by you and that you are in charge not her.
If she is not spayed do it now. That may help curb the behavior if it is at all hormone driven.

My ***** was doing that at less than a year. It's not abnormal. However, she is trying to dominate you, and you need to let her know that you are Alpha. Push her off when she tries to do it, and hold her down on her back, until she stops struggling. It goes without saying not to hurt her, but be firm. There are also simple steps you can take to show her you're boss. For example, just before you feed her, let her see you prepare the food then eat a biscuit (of the human variety) before putting the food down for her. The Alpha always eats first, so this should help. For more ideas see Jan Fennels books ("The Dog Listener" etc.), as I find them very good on the subject. Also, spaying her should help, if she's not already spayed.

It's a domination thing. I have six dogs, five female and one male, and a couple of them always try to hump the others except for Bear, he's the Alpha male. They are simply jockeying for position. Your dog is trying to dominate you. Stop this by establishing dominance yourself by forcing her to lock eyes with you then make her look away first however long it takes.

Females get horny too! All dogs can act this way at times, could be you have a scent on you that is attracting her. Or she just wants to play, after all you're on the floor and to a dog your just another dog, the one in charge maybe, but still a dog.

Ignore her, if you give in she will think this is acceptable behavior to get attention. Instead wait until she is acting as you want her to then give her love and playtime. Tell her she is good. If you reinforce bad behaviors, they never stop doing them, so ignore her or get up and walk away.

This is very common dog behavior problem, even for females. It has nothing to do with sexual excitement. Most likely this is her way of showing her dominance over you. Basically she is just showing you that she is the boss.
Rarely it can be a sign of a medical problem. Here is a veterinarian's article on this behavior.

My friend's dog did that at less than a year old. They got her spayed and that solved the problem.

She was probably just excited. Dogs use this behavior to show dominance over you. She may think she is boss.

That is kind of weird for a female dog to do the humping, but maybe she's assertive. Who knows weird things happen in nature. Of course she could be a lesbian in which case you should support her lifestyle choice.
