My neighbors let ther dogs out to run a lot & My husband hates dogs & I don't like them....They have pissed all over my garden & torn it into shreds & If I didn't love animals they would be dead by now!! They have torn up EVERYONE'S gardens & such & they bark all the time!!!
If that wasn't bad enough they are Pit Bulls & Pits don't need this kind of bad press - We have told the dog's owner & he doesn't care!!!! HELP PLEASE - or someone from the neighborhood is going to shoot or poison them.

I have three dogs. Two I adopted from school (vet tech program) and one is a puppy we just rescued. They are all outside dogs and each one has a 10 foot by 10 foot kennel, all connected in a row so each dog can smell, see, and hear the other two.
The problem is, one of them will not lay in his doghouse, even when it is pouring down rain, windy or chilly. There is plenty of straw in the house and in the kennel. But this particular dog dug all the straw out of the doghouse and lays in it next to the house! I have put treats, toys, and even his food in the doghouse, and he will go in and eat but won't stay in there. I've tried moving it around and in different directions but no luck.
I'm just worried that he will freeze this winter--he's a hound mix, about 45 pounds, and he's very fit-no extra fat on him. I feed him as much as he can eat, hoping some extra weight will keep him warm.
I can't bring him inside--tiny house, no room.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

i dont understand this??/ why this still is coming out of his eyes i been giving him which is TERRAMYCIN it help 4 a little while but then it comes right back can u help me please ??

Me and my hubby had to put his dog to sleep yestorday and my hubby wanted to stay with her( the dog Maggie) and I didn't want him to be alone. So he held her while the doc did the shot and I held her collar. I've never been so depressed in my life to see something like that and I never wanna do that again. I can't get the image out of my mind. help

My sister did this years ago. She had a white rat with red eyes, and it was kinda creepy. She took it where ever she went, even to the restaurants I worked in at the time! People made so much fun of her because she was the wierd girl with the rat. That isn't the worst part. She had to get another rat that was a male. They had tons of babies, so she had 30 rats at one time. Is that disgusting or what?

I have some doggies with some serious issues.
First off I got my albino chichi when she was 5 weeks old from a backyard breeder. (I didn't know till he was prosecuted) however I believe that I saved her life because all of the other pups died. (lucky I know a little about nursing animals back to health)
She has had problems with separation, I think, so I got a male shi-chi mix to keep her company and so they can play together. She's doing wonders better with him around, but he is starting some serious behavioral problems. He chews up his wee wee pads when I am away, I come home to pee soaked confetti everyday after class. And the most disturbing thing he does is humps his own mouth, aggressively may I add. He almost looks like he's going to hurt himself. I know that dogs lick themselves to clean, but he will actually pull on himself with his teeth. I've talked to vets (no avail) and the breeder he came from (never heard of such a thing)help he's 7mo old and don't want to get rid of him

He licks everything! Not just people to show niceness. He obessively licks and licks. Especially the couches. Even after they are cleaned. He licks people (he will lick feet and legs and arms for hours), he licks his toys, he licks the rug. He can't stop. He is not doing this out of sweetness. I am worried it is a real problem. I heard someone say something about a hyperactive thyroid? Any help would be appreciated before I give in and bring him to the vet for this nonsense. Thanks!

I just got a Betta fish for my 2.5 gallon. One of my friends had a Betta and put a piece of mirror in the tank so every time in swam by it would flare out it's fins and look really cool thinking there was another Betta there. Does this stress them out thinking there is another fish in the tank? I was thinking about doing it but I am not going to if it stesses it out.

i went into the vet with my 2 rats, i had them in the same cardboard box because i couldnt find a second one and i couldnt leave one at home, as i would not be returning at that home, anyway, i had to take them both into the vets offce because i couldnt leave one in the waiting room, it would pee on someone, i tols the receptionest that i wanted only the one rat treated, and no other action taken, no shots, nothing, only an exam on the one rat, and she marked his name and we went in, with both, like i said before, and he not only examined both, but also gave them injections of antibiotics, wich is what i didnt ask for, i was never told that he was going to do this, and after he was done, i went to the waiting room, $190! i filed a BBB report, and he lied! even said he had tapes that show me taking one in, then he examines and treats it, i go out, take the other rat, and come back in, and he examines and treats him too! the office even had a D rating, so i dont know what i should so.

we bought a pitbull like 2 months ago. hes full breed and hes like 3 months old. i have 3 kids and everytime somebody finds out whut kind of dog we have they freak out. he gets along with them. i just want to know if anything bad can happen in the future, cause u hear stories about how dangerous they are.

and he is not adjusting well at all. he keeps hissing at her and then he coughs. we have had the kitten for about 2 1/2 weeks. by the way he is a simease and the new kitten is a tabby. is this behavior normal. I try to give him extra love but he wont have much to do with me anymore.
