I'm Getting a dachshund puppy in oct. a female black and tan short hair.
Problem is i need a name for her
I want something unique and/or "expensive" ( diamond, dior, channel, etc)
I thought of alot but not what I want
Coco
Peanut
Chocolate
Gucci
Any suggestion??

Congratulations. Dachshunds are the best dogs. I have a pack of them. They maybe little, but when they gang up-watch out. Any name you choose she will love. You will be so happy with her. She will sleep under the covers in your bed. She will go on long trips and short trips in the car. She will be happy to be where ever you happen to be. My first dachshund, Jade was at the river with me and the kids. She kept barking at something. That something was a nest in a tree with mama, papa and two baby eagles. My camcorder filmed mama and papa going and coming with food for their two youngsters all afternoon. It was amazing. I know that if I had not brought Jade with us no one would have known they were there.

NOT Coco or Peanut. Those are like the most common Dachshund names ever. Think of something unique.

I like kittykat answer. I have a mini-dachshund named Chewy Louie, he loved to chew when he was little. Loves to sleep under the covers too. Wait until you get your puppy and watch him. He'll let you know what to name him. He'll do something and you'll just know the name is right for him

I gave my husband a dachshund for our 2nd wedding anniversary and he named it Doby.. For Christmas last year he gave me,a little red and black dachshund and I named her Gingersnap.
Whatever you name your little puppy she'll love..
