I would of squished it, at least it has a better chance of living out there if the hard rain doesn't wound it and make it suffer.

daddy long legs only last for 3 days anyway, and we only have them 3months very 12 months, i just hate it when they come inside from the window when i am cooking,

Do you want it in your house making spider webs,or sleeping in your bed bitting you? It belongs outside. That is where it came from. It was nice for you to save its life.
