Can you keep the rabbit in a cage while the terrier is in the room for a while? Then try them together again. I'm not sure how things work with dogs and rabbits, but my nephew was given a chick for Easter by someone once. We had about 5 cats! We weren't sure if that chicken was going to be long for the world. We put the chicken in an enclosed pen until it got adult size. By that time the cats had passed by the chicken so many times they really weren't paying any attention to it. When we let the chicken out, the cats were fine. They never, ever bothered it.

If you can find a way to make your dog exhausted to where it won't care about the presence of the rabbit, it will give up.

Maybe you could try putting the cage of the rabbit next to the bed that it sleeps in.

After a while, it would get tired of barking or trying to get at it. The only negative side effect is if the rabbit is traumatized during the time that the dog is trying to get at the rabbit.

Terriers were breed to go down into holes and attack rabbits and ferrets. Good luck with that one.

Are you kidding me? Terriers are literally bread to hunt and kill rabbits. Good luck.
