Well, my aunt shot my dog. Altogether he has three shots. He's still living but, hurt real bad. The dog will not eat. He will only drink water or soup broth. Everytime he drinks he throws up. This happened two days ago and he has lost a LOT of weight. Any suggestions? If you want some pics, contact me and I'll send them.

We have stiched him up, he had 1 bullet go through his body. One that split the top of his back. The third is one that is a hole in his back. You can tell he is in a lot of pain. He is not active and "happy" like he always is. Just mopey and sad.

So...suggestions please!

When I'm sleeping the cat jumps on my head and tries to strangle me with his paws and when I walk he tries to trip me all the time, is my cat evil, if so what do I do about the evil cat?

We have a small-ish common goldfish who is currently living by himself in a bowl. Do you think that I could put him with our Comet? Or would the Comet eat the smaller fish? I don't want the little guy to get hurt or anything...

I've only ever had tiny dogs, and my friend wants to give me a black lab puppy (I'm pretty sure to say "no" but I'm just wondering).
I can walk the dog for 1 hour or more daily, if necessary.

My little dogs don't mind sleeping on the sofa for a few hours (4 or 6) during the day, but I guess a lab would not be too happy about that? I don't have a yard for him to play in, but I could walk him the minute I get home.

Also, how would a lab get along w/ an 8 lb dog? Would he chase it like a cat?

What about chewing, stratching, furniture?

My 8lb dog is no trouble in these areas. Thanks.

"Beginning Jan. 1, pet owners who carelessly leave a dog or cat unattended in a vehicle on hot days could face misdemeanor charges, according to legislation approved Friday by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

SB 1806 by Sen. Liz Figueroa, D-Fremont, would assess a $100 fine on first conviction, but if the animal suffers great bodily harm, the owner -- or whoever left the pet unattended -- could face a fine as much as $500 and up to six months in jail.

Schwarzenegger said, ``Countless dogs die after being locked in cars while their owners work, shop or run errands.''

Schwarzenegger signed the bill in his office, in the presence of two dogs belonging to staffers, a golden retriever named Tucker Grebitus and a long-haired dachshund that goes by Henry Costigan."

What do you guys think? Is it Good or bad? Should other states follow in California's footsteps?

I rescued a kitten. He's about 4-5 weeks old, tiny, cute, follows me around everywhere, and meows when I am not holding him. He seems healthy but I just rescued him last night about at about 5pm. I'v bought him Iams soft canned kitten food and also some mothers replacement milk and he still hasn't went poop. He has peed abunch in the litter box but nothing from the other. What should I do? His belly is very round and rather hard. Thanks

I want a toy dog that I can take with me on the plane when I travel and that is very affectionate to more than one person.
Also, I have an old Lasa Apso (female) who likes being left in peace, will this be a problem in bringing a new puppy into the house?

My boyfriend is getting me a cat tomorrow . The only promblem is that it's a boy and I can't think up boys name. I always got girl's and choosed there names .
