I would go with Dr Betty Brown DVM or if you want shorter Dr. Brown DVM. Sounds more proffesional

The first is the correct way to address things to a vet and usually what the name tags should read. Some are not allowed to want to use the first name in the title. A DVM signals it is a Vet you are talking about and not an MD, or PhD.
Some vets graduating from Universtiy of Penn use VMD and not DVM.

ALL ARE ACCEPTABLE EXCEPT THE LAST ONE, AS A VETERINARIAN YOU ARE A DOCTOR, AN MD WILL BE A DOCTOR AND HAVE THE MD AFTER THE NAME.
