He's not evil . He just wants to play with you.

No, your cat is not evil. If he's bothering you while your in bed, close the door and don't let him in to wake you. He's probably either just playing rough at night, or trying to wake you up in the morning to get fed, so the easiest way to stop this is to just lock him out. If you can't or don't want to lock him out, when he does this, yell "OUCH" very loudly and scoot him off of you. He may not realize he's hurting you, so you may want to give him a chance to learn what is acceptable. As for the tripping, he's probably just like most cats that hang around their owners feet(especially if they want to get fed) and he's just accidently tripping you. If it really bothers you to have him so close to your feet, try an empty soda can with some coins or rocks in it and shake it whenever he is around your feet. It should scare him enough to move away and he'll gradually learn not to get so close to your feet. Cats do not have the cognitive powers to do things "on purpose" that are purposely evil.

Not only is your cat trying to kill you, he most likely opened an insurance policy on your life!! Don't take this threat lightly! First thing I would do is get a lawyer to file a restraining order against him. Next, notify your family members of this attempt and let them know if anything happens to you and you disappear, to tell the police to check into the cat first!

I had a dog like this once. Luckily he was arrested holding up a post office and is now incarcerated for 15 years (dog years that is).

do you wear loose shoe laces? Try putting a scrunched up piece of paper on a string ( I recommend against tying directly to fishing line) or tying a paper teaser to someting with a string and elastic. the paper is best scrunched and twisted like a little bow tie. You must be careful that the cat does not get the string loose and eat it because it will make a problem in its belly.

That's why cats had the reputation in the Dark Ages of being evil familiars. She was 'stealiing your breath'. Of course, it's all nonsense. Cats are not humans. They display affection differently than we do. She is loving and playful. Don't destroy that with your superstitious bent.

I got this mental image of paws around someone's neck while the cat's face is all contorted in rage.....a homicidal Toonses. It's hilarious.

Playing and killing are pretty closely related in the cat world.....*snickering*.

most cats aren't evil, but in your case (unless you're dreaming) CALL AN EXORCIST NOW!! jk

i think your cat is strange like mine...i can't walk around the house without it always underfoot, and i can't sleep without it climbing on my bed and sleeping on my neck...your cat may also be playful (sounds a lot like a kitten than an adult cat).

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, I needed this belly laugh! This is probably a young cat...good news is that you can train him to stay off your face. The jumping out in front of you to get you to trip, well that's just a nasty little habit some cats have (I have one of those myself!)....when stepped on or accidentally kicked him a couple of times, he'll think twice about the foot amush.

Cats can have very strange ways of showing their love. A bit like humans really.
