finally a cattle question! you can go to any farm store and purchase fly spray in a can. if there inside you can also put up fly traps and stuff to keep the flys down inside.

If flies are bothering your cattle, you can buy spray or shampoo for them that will keep most flies off them for a period of time. Remember, bugs and insects carry diseases that may harm your cattle so i would recomend getting a spray for it and if that doesn't work you might want to get some shampoo for it. Then if you are still having trouble, i would ask a vet for more advise.

I worked ona small dairy farm years ago and they had those rolls of sticky fly paper in the calves room alonmg with the flourescent elecrric zapper but that is only really effective in smaller spaces

put an oiler in with them, they can be made or bought at a farm store. we have both home made is two posts with a rope or cable in between with burlap or some kind of cloth soak in diesel or fly repellent, the cattle go under neath and it gets on their back, or you can get one made of steel and you fill it with oil or repellent....

Go to the trackter supply store it will be in the horse section. Variety of things u can chose from.

There are sprays made especially for the problem . go to a grain and feed store or something like it.. spray away from food and water

get a BIG FLY SWATTER drink alot of coffee and spend the next..lets see ..theres about 2 more weeks of summer,so i,d say about 2wks of "fly"cardio exercise.:)

try warbeck spray or dip works really good get it at a local farm store
