I realize when a dog does it, he's happy or excited. But I understand it means something different with a cat, but I'm not sure I know what it actually is. Just curious, my cat, Cuddles seems to do it with different emotions, contented, riled (sees hated cat neighbor outside window), etc. Thank you for your help.

my sister's dog just died showing symptoms of i think aflotoxin poisoning. her husband drives a truck and called her this morning and said he heard on the radio something about dogfood contamination but didn't hear what brand it was. i looked it up on yahoo and all i found was diamond and nutro, which were from january this year and older. does anyone know about current dogfood contamination? all the signs and symptoms he had before death were the same as on the nutro and diamond dogfood recall thing that says what happens. he was jaundiced, bloody diarrea, tired, etc. he died at the vet's icu a few days ago.

since the day i got my puppy he has had balls and chew toys. i didn't have any problems with him until about a month ago. he chews his nails to the quick,ate the linolium in the kitchen, pulls hair off my other dog just to eat it,he eats sticks, he ate a hard piece of plastic toy( he wouldn't let me have it he took off with it), he woke me this morning he chewed a hole in my sheet rock in the livingroom. he gets plenty of exercise. we walk and play fetch inside and out. he acts like he is restless all the time. he eats like he is starving. i had him fixed a week ago hoping that would calm him down some, but it didn't.he is 3/4 german sheppard and 1/4 collie he is now 9 months old. is he going mad someone please help me with some good advice.

every so often my dog will freak out. she starts staring at the ceiling, walking with her butt down and hiding under my bed, likes shes scared of something. she wont sleep good, she shakes. and she wont come out from under the bed for nothing. shes real nervous. anyone know what this could be? shes 2 years old and chihuahua terries mix.

It's a papillon, and I swear, he never smells at all & I've never heard anything & he sleeps right on top of me everyday. Is it just that if he does fart it's such a little chipmunk fart that it is impossible to smell or hear?

I have a green spotted puffer fish that is in with two juvenile oscars and a plecostomas. The oscars are not aggressive toward him and I just got done treating them for ich. Everday I have done 50% water changes and added the medicine, everyone looks fine now, except the puffer, and it looks as if it's skin is peeling or flaking off, it looks like this all over its body....Any ideas on what to do or what is wrong?

We have two cocker spaniels and they both love fresh fruit and some vegetables. I just think it is weird for dogs to like melon, apples, broccoli...I can't help but think this is good for them...does anyone know if fruit is good or bad for dogs?
