What if it gets away? Then you have a mouse on the loose. Now if you were to take a board and nail the mouse to it so it couldn't get away, I would see no reason not to get it. The cat will get board with it soon enough anyway. And while they are playing together you can go sit in the car with the engine running and a hose running from the exhaust pipe into the window. K?

No. They buy live mice for snakes all the time. As long as this mouse dose not get loose in the house. It is all a matter on principle. For me I love bengal cats and mice well whatever..

Not a good idea. Not all cats are hunters. I had one that took one look at a dead mouse and ran the other way. The end result might be a mouse loose in your house.
Buy him some catnip from an herbal store instead. It's much stronger than the stuff other stores carry.

Hi Walter...snakes eat the mouse whole so they suffocate before much suffering. Cats like to play with the mice for some time using their claws and teeth, which makes the animal suffer when injured...death is usually slow and painful.

Not a good idea, buy him a moving mouse toy or one of those furry ferret toys that rolls around the room. He'll like it just as much without having to deal with a mouse in your home. Think about if he got done playing with it and let it go into your house........

Yes - cruel and unusal. Buy him a toy. Snakes eat mice because that's their diet!

They have furry mice that are electronically powered to move around (some are quite funny). And they have a "Non-electronic gizmo" that will squeak when the cat bats at it. NOT cruel and unusual!

well for one when people feed mice to their snakes, the mouse is unconsious so it doesn't feel a thing. if you give a live mouse to your cat that is awake and fully functional it could:
1) bite your cat and give him some kind of disease
2) get loose in your house and breed
3)make a blody mess all over the floor
if i were you i would get a frozen mouse or an electric one

yea it is a little cruel, snakes will eat the mouse, cats will torture it and then possiably eat it, though probably not get a toy mouse they have remote control ones. you can have just as much fun watching that and you can get more use out of it.
