Doesn't he know the grass is greener on THIS side of the fence?

All she does is eat her food, use the kitty litter which isn't far from her, and sleeps on her bed all day. She doesn't move from that spot (I also feed her there because she loves it). She doesn't play or anything. I give her attention, and she's a friendly cat, but I'm worried about her not having a fulfilling life. The first year of her life she was starved and abused. Now that I have her she needs to feel very secure at all times which I don't mind. Is something wrong, or is this just her security? She doesn't seem unhappy.

We have many cats to get rid of to good homes. Because we live behind the local animal shelter where apparently they arent accepting any animals, ppl have been droping them off and they end up making our home theirs.
Does anyone know who could help us get rid of them. We have several that were "ours" to start with but have accumulated more than 30extra outdoor cats, some indoor. They are all Un-Fixed and are breeding like crazy and our local animal shelter will not help us. With my parents on fixed income its impossiable to get 40+ cats fixed at close to $40 each.
If anyone knows anything that could help us PLEASE Let us know! My parents are going stir crazy with the smell of cats! And they ruine the furniture, house and property!
PLEASE HELP!

I have a 4 month old cat that we got 2 months ago. As he got bigger he got friskier and loved to play with my year old son. The past month or so he has gotten very vicious, attacking unprovoked - myself and my husband as well, but mostly my son. We have raised the baby to be very gentle with animals, and he does not torment the cat at all, just tries to play nicely with him. The cat jumps on my son, grabbing with his claws (which I keep trimmed) and biting the back of his neck. He is NOT just playing. This is whether the baby is trying to play with him or not. The cat has also started howling loudly at the windows, so we figured that he hit kitty puberty. We had him neutered on Monday, hoping that would curb the aggression. I know it takes time for the hormones to calm, but there has been no improvement at all, in fact is worse. Last night the cat held his bladder for several hours then released it all over our bed just before bedtime. Other than getting rid of him, what can I do?

I took a dog in that my friend was going to put to sleep. It was her mothers dog and her mother died. The dog is a great dog as far as nature and personality. She has all her shots and is very pretty and is the sweetest dog I have ever met. I work all the time and dont have time to take care of her. I am trying to work overtime to pay some things off so she is inside all day so accidents happen. Now I have a urine smell. I cant take it but I cant just drop her off at the pound and the humane society wont take her. I dont know anyone who wants a dog and the ones that do want a puppy. she is 4 yrs old but very healthy. She needs to be free and be able to run and play, this is weighing on my heart heavily. So my question is not only about the urine but about what to do. I am not a dog person please help!!!!!

I know this is a silly question, but how hot does 90 degrees feel? Like, is it so hot that you cant bare it, warm, warm/hot, hot but not hot enough to make you feel pain?

I have two dogs, one is an adult yellow lab female, and one is a young black lab male. I wouldn't call the black lab a puppy, but I wouldn't call him an adult. He is very, very active and hyper all the time. We cannot put a collar on the yellow lab, because the black lab will chew it off. I was wondering if anyone has heard of a chew-proof dog collar. If you have, could you tell me where to buy it or send me a link off the Internet for it! Thanks!

I think it's sad that there are actually places like that. I mean, they have no idea if the dogs are healthy, where they came from or what they are like. But they still do it. I just wish there were some way to stop it.

I have had a hamster since April. I saw that they were four quid, and since I had the cage and everything from last owning a hamster, I bought one.

When it was younger, it wouldn't like being handled - and bit. So whilst we did take it out of it's cage often and put it in it's ball, it's not really been handled.

Currently, it refuses to use the wheel that we have put in the cage, piles all her sawdust up to one corner of the cage - and tries frantically each nice to get out (we put her in the ball every other night). Is there a way to prevent her trying to escape so much, aside from letting her go into the great outdoors?

There is the possible suggestion of 'put her in the ball more often' - we have tried that. When she gets returned to the cage, she starts scratching at the top again to get out.

Suggestions please.

i have a multiple animal household, that includes both cats and dogs. I need something that can remove serious odor from fecal matter and urination of both 2 puppies and four kittens (of which i'm currently fostering). Help! The odor is horrendous and while i am going to get someone in to professionally clean the carpets once they are all 100% housebroken/litter box trained, I need something than can make my house at least breathable again. The room with the kittens is the worst. PS: I have carpeted floors everywhere but the kitchen, and it is a cheaper end carpet, but doesn't seem to stain from cleaning chemicals. Please help!

OK, so I read in this book that rabbits often eat their own feces, much like dogs do. Apparently, the first time the feces passes through their body all the nutrients are not extracted. So the rabbit or dog will munch on the feces so that the nutrients can be re-extracted.

So I'm wondering, should I make a collection of feces, much like I would collect stamps or baseball cards, neatly place each ball of feces into a bowl or other container, and give the feces to the rabbit as a mid-day snackaroo?

Also, logically speaking, since the rabbit's feces still apparently contains nutrients unlike human feces, would humans also benefit from consumption of rabbit feces? I'm thinking about trying some rabbit feces for my 3 o'clock afternoon snack. Would it be safer to microwave the feces, then eat? Or eat raw?

Just to be sure, this is no joke. I'm asking a serious question here so please, only serious answers.

I don't know what gender the cat is, but it is very persistent in trying to fight my female ktiten. I have another female feline who also lives outside, and I don't understand why the cat is trying to pick a fight with the kitten instead of the full-grown cat.

Can anyone offer any explanations?
