Ok, they really are macho men putting their lives at stake, more than I'd care to do. Through jungle and swamp, forest and desert, caves, they crawl and walk around actually looking for poisonous snakes in SHORTS and short sleeved shirts! —— I'd be wearing stainless steel carbon fiber CHAIN-MAIL top to bottom! But, oh, not them; oh no, they're tramping around swamps with bare feet, catching black adders bare-handed without even a stick.

What's up with these guys? Who do they think they are, Steve Erwin? Why do they do that? Are they crazy?

i currently have 5 guppies, 2 females and 3 males, with a black lyretail molly. I have plans to add a female molly and if possible a female betta. and it is in a 20 gallon tank.

Ok I have had my kitten for about a week and my older cat whos a simaise thats bout 18 yrs old is just a hissing at the newcomer, he hisses at her(the new kitten) and then runs out the room outside(where I really don't want him) so now what do? I really love my older cat and want him to be happy, but again i know that he wont last forever, hense the newcomer to help the pain for when the time comes. I want them to get along, is it just going to take more time? or is it not even possible for them to get along?she seems to be getting along ok with the two dogs.

He has a litter box that he uses. He is about 3 months old and I am not sure when he was neutered. We got him about 2 weeks ago. He keeps peeing in the same spot. We have two dogs too.

She is a good dog and i really want her to have puppies because she's been having fake pregnencies for about 2 years now, which is a sign that she wants to be a mother. Please help me i would prefer the dog to be a middle sized poodle, but i'm ready to make comprimises... im doing this for my dog and i please beg you to please send me something to help..... even if you know someone who has a male dog.

1 female 1 male, male is very playful both are very loving indoor dogs and very protective of my son and i. do not want to put them down and don't know anyone willing to take them. perhaps an animal rescue group that can rehabilitate them can help us i have tried finding one unsuccessfully.

I have an octagon shaped thirty gallon tank, and I can't reach to the bottom to clean it properly, and I would rather not invest in an undergravel cleaner, there must be another way besides gravel!!

Several months ago my cat had a litter of kittens and we kept two females. Mama cat was a great Mom and had a great relationship even after nursing ended. A few weeks ago Mama cat got out for a few days and when she came home she began hissing and striking at our 2 kittens.

Then one of the kittens got sick and went to the vet and when she got home a few days later her littermate had began hissing at her. They are all sweet wonderful cats, but now only to us humans and not to each other. I feel like I am playing referee just to keep them all from tearing each other apart-what is going on! Could it be that the small seperations ruined the dynamic they had.

It actually stopped bleeding and the blood is dry. It's not like "oh my god he's gonna die from losing blood!!!" but I'm still pretty worried. It's about a centimeter long and the blood went half a centimeter wide, roughly. I know I can't put a bandage on it without skinning him, so how do I keep it from getting infected?

I have had my fish tank for quite some time now, and nothing like this has ever happened to me before. About two nights ago I was looking in my fish tank at all my fish, and I could not find one. I thought he might just be hiding in one of the rocks where I couldn't see him and he would show up eventually. This is a prettty big algea eater fish,so it would be hard for him to hide. Well he never showed up and today I finally thought, "what if he jumped out of the back of the tank?" Well, I looked behind the tank, and he had. I don't know how long he had been there, but how is that possible? Algea eaters are not that powerful and do not have that big of fins to jum. Also, the water wasn't all the way to the top. It is just really weird, and I can't figure out how he jumped out, and jumped so far away from the tank. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

My dog is overweight. She doesn't like to exercise (when I take her for walks she goes so slow and after about five minutes just plops down and won't budge) and loves nothing more than just laying around in the sun. She's beagle/basset and I think she's destined to be overweight (my vet said that those types of dogs love sunbathing and eating and she does!). So, does this make her have a shorter life span? What can I do to make her healthier? I feed her carrots and apples, she likes them...but I also give her dog food. I just don't know what to do. Thanks for the answers!

How many of you have actually known and met more then 3 Pitbulls from responsible good owners that are well bred and raised?

How many of you are just going off of what the News reports and really have no idea other then what you see the thugs walk around with?

do you think it is a little like stereo typing based on ignorance if you hate what you have no experience with?
