Why do white people love dogs so much????

I think that anyone that love dogs or cats or any animal more than people that person has missed placed affection. Man was created in GOD image not any animal and no animal will be given everlasting life nor do they go to heaven. I cared for my dogs very much but I love my wife etc. and I will die for her are any of my brothers or sisters if I had to but not an animal. The companies that have you people thinking this way are making a lot money off you before it was 17 billion dollars yearly now its 43 or 47 billions dollars I want to cash in on your misguided dollars.

All of these people acting like it's not a racial thing...here, let me clarify it for you. It's not the 'liking' part that's the issue. It's the sharing the same food utensils, sharing a meal (WITH THE SAME UTENSILS) calling yourselves 'mommy and daddy' to a dog. It's the fact that whenever you see a dog you feel the need to reach out and pet it, sometimes without the owner's permission. With those things in mind, it IS a racial quirk because largely, NO ONE ELSE does those kinds of things except- You Guys. WHITE PEOPLE

i don't think color has anything to do with it, more likely culture and the importance of where dogs are in the hierarchy of the particular society/culture..

in america which was predominately white(notice i say WAS) dogs have held a high position in society, they have been used in herding and hunting and for companionship, so many people have grown up with dogs in their life.

in other societies where dogs are used for food(!!!!!) the idea of having them as pets seems ridiculous.

i myself have always had dogs in my life, and have 2 now, a beagle and a golden retriever, and they add so much to my life, can't imagine not having dogs around.

Why does anyone love dogs so much. Because they make great companions and it doesn't matter what race you are. In my neighborhood most of the dog owners are black.

oh come on! it's not just white people that love dogs. everyone loves dogs. they're so cute and cuddly. and even if they're mean they're still great pets. EVERYONE loves dogs. They're relaxing to be with and they never yell at you and they dont hate and they're so nice! and what's with just the white people loving dogs. everyone loves dogs!

ALL human beings love dogs. We have had a great relationship for millenia. Dogs are faithful, loving, and nonjudgmental. Why don't YOU love dogs?

BTW, my black buddy has three dogs. At the moment, I don't have any. Try being a little less racist.
