You're going to want to cover the breeding tank where the Fry remain with either a cover or some Saran wrap. Drafts kill. Well, for the Fry any ways...

Make sure your Fry food is prepared before you actually breed your fish. This way, you won't starve your fry. The best live foods to use are Micro-worms. They are generally small enough to fit in those little mouths. Anything bigger than the Fry's mouths, and they won't and CAN'T eat it! I like to use Micro-worms and Tetra Min Baby Fish Food -E- for the first couple weeks, and apparently so do other breeders from what I've been reading. It helps keep the pollution of the water down, and since its so hard to do water changes during the first couple weeks of the Fry's lives, it's a BIG DEAL to keep the water pollution as far down as possible.
After the first couple weeks you can start using other foods like Baby Brine Shrimp. There are many brands you can get that take away the pain of hatching your own, or you can also make and/or purchase a hatchery to do it yourself. Most good pet stores sell a variety.
The first few weeks you should be feeding your fry (but do NOT over feed), about 4 times a day. After that you can get them down to just 2 times a day.

One of my favorite web-sites uses No BBS Fry Food because its a good combination of food. That can be purchased from
MKReed.com.

At that size, the only thing you can feed them is liquid fry food. You can also boil and egg yolk in water, blend it up well and feed a few drops of it at a time. Next time, you should consider preparing some insofuria in advance (Infusoria / Greenwater - This is just algae (greenwater) and other microscopic critters like rotifers and paramecium (infusoria) . Put some lettuce in a jar of treated water next to a window and in a few days you'll have greenwater. You can try a larger version of this set-up in your backyard with a big bucket of water and some grass clippings and other decaying matter. Let it sit for a few weeks and it'll start to look like green soup. This stuff can stink, so be careful and think of your neighbors. Feed a few drops at a time, too much will also make the water foul and green.)
In a week or so they will be large enough to accept frozen baby brine shrimp.

I successfully bred gouramis which are in the same family as siamese fighting fish. You need to feed them infusoria which is like algae. All I did was put a dozen or so algae discs that you can buy at Walmart or your local pet store. The discs will start growing algae on them and will grow the infusoria for the babies. Make sure you cover the tank with something. I used cling wrap. When the fry are big enough to breath air, if the air outside is a different temp as the water, it will kill the fry. The plastic keeps the air nice and warm for them. Good Luck!

The fry should be fed a couple of feedings daily of baby brine shrimp or very fine baby food.

However, make sure you remove the daddy b/c he is very likely to eat the fry babies...

Congrats. Beta are not the easiest fish to breed.
Just grind up your fish flakes into a fine powder, they'll be able to eat this. It's what I do for mine when they breed and I've never had a problem.
