I have just bought a bird feeder from Menards, and I put it in my tree that is right by my back porch. It has been 2 days, and I have not seen the birds eat from it at all! Is it because they do not know its there or do they not like the food (Wild Cardinal food) ? How can I get the little ones to know it is there?

He had sarcoptic mange, so the vet recommended revolution, which treats:
Fleas
heartworm
ear mites
mange
ticks
I am considering maybe just looking for something that prevents the heartworm, as he hasn't shown symptoms of mange in a long time, and he's never had a flea or tick on him.

I made chocolate chip cookies and i was wondering about sharing some with my cat but don't want to hurt him. I don't think a little bit would bother him, what do you guys think?

She's about 10 years old, and sort of overweight. I used to feed to her every morning, but she was always hungry halfway through the day, so I started feeding her twice a day, in smaller amounts. But still, no matter what I do, she starts meowing and rubbing up against things a little while after she finishes her food. I know I'm feeding her enough, and she always has fresh, cold water. What's going on?

Do they dislike it, are they just confused about it or are dogs being protective?? It's strange and we get a laugh out of it but it happens all the time.

and now all of these brown fuzzy things are appearing at the bottom of the tank. I have brand new gravel in a medium sized glass goldfish bowl with a living plant that the guy at Petsmart recommended. What can these fuzzy brown things be? And how can I prevent them?

I went into a flat today with my b/f... (he decorates flats and houses when tentants move out). Anyway this flat was completely infested with Fleas (and not the red hot chilli pepper type). We left very quickly once we realised our feet were covered, and I hasten to add I was wearing flip flops!

This brings me to an age old question... Apart from making us itch, what exactly is the point of fleas???? Please help

This growth is like a gelenatas mass about the size of a large marble. It dosent hurt him and he actually likes it scratched. Should it be removed or just leave it alone. It dosen't bother him or me.
