My vet won't write me a prescription -- he wants to sell it to me at his office, marked WAY up.

My dog is up to date on all his shots, and sees the vet for check-ups. He's in good health. The vet says he won't write prescriptions for online ordering because I have no way of knowing what exactly they are selling me. HELLO?!?! It comes in a sealed box!

I order my Revolution online from http://www.petsuppliesnet.com I save over $20 per pack from what the vet charges even after the shipping. I have been using this supplier for 3 years. You can even see the expiration date before you order. You do not need a prescription.

The hospital I work at, does price matching with pet meds...And yes you do need a prescription for it. Just get it from the vet...see if they will price match?!

The only reason your vet shouldnt write that prescription is one of 2 things...your pet is not upto date on its exam, needed once a year. Or your vet is a jerk...and doesnt deal with any online service. Is your cat up to date?

go online and there are lots of sites that you can get the med without him. Yes that is what they do at the vet is try to sell you something that they have marked up so high and they probably got it free. My husband orders his dogs med on line but i can not remember what the site is and it is alot cheaper. The same bottle cost 250.00 at the vet but on line he pays 80.00 for it. it is a pill for her bad hips.

No way should you buy that or any of the meds from them. I even went as far as giving all the required shots to my dogs with the exception of the rabies because that one is a state registered injection. I have saved so much money over the years it is crazy. Check out Fosters and Smith on line shopping it is fantastic that is where I buy all my supplies from and it is so easy to order from them as well.
