We got our new 7 week old kitten today (female)
She is so cute but i have put her into the litter tray and she is eating the cat litter ???

we have got 2 other cats and i dont remember them eating the litter when we first got them.

Dont worry we are keeping them apart when we go to bed. Ive put kitten food down and done everything right , I just dont know what to do about the litter tray. should i remove it completely and just put newspaper down ???

anyone else who has had this prob, I would appreciate your advice. Thanks

I have a red eared slider. I cant have a pet except a turtle so i have one. But my problem is that my turtle is SOOO boring! Does anyone have any ideas of what i an do with him so he would be more fun?

I am willing to travel anywhere in California to see and pick-up my puppy (I don't want to ship it). I would prefer a female, with a chocolate smooth coat. Please let me know if you are a breeder or know anyone who is.... I have been looking in the pennysaver but have had no luck. Thanks!

OK well I have a chcicken and has laid me 4 eggs. I brought the egga home. They are fertilized and they should be hatching any day now. I was going to bring the eggs back to her when they hatched. Unfortunaly, she has passed away. Now I dont know what to do with the babies when they htach. Should I keep that at home? Or should I just put them back in the barn with a heat lamp? I need answers!

Well, just for some background info, my dad is a mental case piece of shhhh*t. Last night he let my one year old house cat outside, without telling anyone. Well, he locked her out. We looked around for her last night and today, but didn't think TOO much of it, as sometimes she's kind of shy. Well, today my mom heard meowing by the window, so she looked out and there was my cat. It's been pouring in buckets today, and it was drizzling last night. She was soaked, freezing cold, and probably was like that since last night. She also has not been spayed yet, and a local vet told us recently that FIV (like HIV, except cats) is very common among the stay cats in this area. My dad is beign a jerk, as always, and my mom (even though she was kind of upset) does not think my cat's health is a concern at all. I really think she should be taken to the vet, just to be safe. Does anyone agree? I can't believe she (my mom) acts like she doesn't care..

I really do not want to put fish in there. Are there any other small animals I can put in there???? Can you give me the exact name and/or info about them?? (ie snails, frogs, turtles, so forth)

my llapso apso 2 years old, i was just told by my vet that he holds his left leg when he runs sometimes because he having growth sperts and the people that had him before me did not give him proper nutrition.

I have a 5 mth old kitten and when I go to bed he will not stop playing,,, he also jumps off the walls, litterally . He plays all day to....... it seems like he NEVER sleeps

ever since we left our cat at home alone a couple of days for vacatioin, he's been going to the bathroom on the couch. he likes a lot of attention, so he probably got angry or lonely, but the problem never stopped. we've been keeping him in a seperate room at night, and keeping an eye on him during the day. it seemed like he was over it. but today we accidently left him out and he did it again. what should i do???

My dog is just itching something awful - I have used the over the counter flea stuff that you squeeze down their back, plus a flea collar but he is going crazy with this and I can see fleas on him which of course means they're in my house and yard. Since it's mid September it has to get better soon because it will be colder here but I feel so bad for him. He can't even lay down for a few minutes before he is trying to get those darn fleas off of himself again. He is 8 years old and has never had such a bad time with them; I just wondered if fleas are worse than usual this year?

is any one else mad about how people treat animals? 2 of my neighbors moved out and abandoned their dogs. there was 4 stray dogs. 2 of them have already died. and my current neighbors dog isnt treated well at his house and is always at mine. i love all these animals to death, but i cannot afford to take care of them all. i make 5.50 an hour. i live withmy mom. it just makes me so mad the way people treat animals. i wish there were harsher animal cruelty laws
